I will say, though, that as far as American cooking reality TV shows go, this one is the bottom of the barrel. There's a lot of transparent reality TV editing bullshit that goes on and some questionable elimination decisions that feel more rooted in making a show rather than a fair competition.

To me, the problem is that all of the movie have actually done a fabulous job in casting villains. And then fail them utterly. I expect nothing less (or more) from Ejiofor's Mordo.

Yes! And the Space Cases reference talking about how whoever would throw out an adorable bear like that must be a monster (it was tossed out of the airlock in B5 because JMS just hates cute, cuddly merch). Space Cases had a LOT more cred than a 2-season live action Nickelodeon sci-fi show should've had.

Frustratingly, the DS9 episode was as close as Trek would ever get to exploring/promoting homosexuality. It was a decent ep in light of that, but damn if it isn't sad for what is supposed to be a progressive, philosophical franchise.
