Anybody keeping track of just how many laws Hank has violated in the last 5 episodes alone?  I want him to survive just so he can get hauled in front of a court for his reckless and illegal investigation that (most likely) left his partner dead.

I hope we get a Reardon/Wompler/Listler episode sometime in the future.

Agreed.  I like Sepinwall a lot, but find the podcast difficult to listen to for the reason you cited.  I've found that Girls in Hoodies and Hollywood Prospectus (both on Grantland network) make for decent alternatives.

Re: Stop Podcasting Yourself…

I couldn't tell if the passive aggressiveness between Aukerman and Maron was real, or if it was all part of Aukerman's tribute/parody to WTF.

EDIT: just watched it. Pretty funny. Not sure why anybody would think it was anything other than a planned bit.

This week's SPY was indeed spectacular.  I've been going through their back catalog recently too.  The old episode with Jimmy Pardo riffing on Canadian rock bands is well worth seeking out/re-listening to.

I have a friend who hasn't read any of the books.  When season 2 ended, she told me she was excited for the Starks to *finally* get back together.  I told her not to get her hopes up.

I think it took Dan Savage a minute to realize that there's no use trying to answer Yahoo Answers queries in a sane fashion.  But once he figured it out and just started bouncing off the McElroys, it was awesome.

I ride the MARC train five days a week, and the obvious Samuel Clemens joke never occurred to me until Hodgman made it.

Yuuup. It is about Keef (and the Sandy Hook massacre!) because Keef is the first and only rapper to ever spit morally repugnant lyrics.

If you love to hate Derogatis, you owe it to yourself to hate-read this very confused article, which enters the "should critics champion violent hip hop music?" debate about 20 years too late.

"Things I Learned From Flex Magazine" was my favorite podcasting segment of the week, from any podcast.  SPY is great.

Did anybody catch Chris Rock on The Champs? Thoughts? I think Rock is a genius, but he's pretty boring when he's just talking shop.  I wish Neal had set him up to talk about more political/sociological topics.

Aisha Tyler was great on The Champs this week.

I only know The Birthday Boys from their appearance on the Improv 4 Humans podcast, but if that is representative, they are indeed very, very funny.  I hated Whitest Kids U Know.

I missed the part where he referenced All Things Comedy.  I'm glad they got a mention (even if it was a back-handed one!) because they've quickly put together a really diverse and unique set of comedy podcasts, without interfering with the creators' voices or imposing any real changes on them.

Oooh I may have misheard that.  In context it sounded like he was comparing Earwolf's contract lawyers to death squads and I thought "Woah!!"

I disagree with about 75% of the opinions expressed on PCHH, but I still really like the show.  It's got a nice laid back atmosphere, and you can tell that all the hosts really enjoy each other.  That's exactly what I need most Friday afternoons when I'm stuck at work. There's also more diversity of opinions on the

From what I can tell, Al Madrigal's "All Things Comedy" network is taking a similarly artist-friendly, collective-style approach. I think a good deal of Dustin's "I am the only non-exploitative man in the world of podcasting!" stance was just posturing, but he still had some interesting things to say.  I doubt the
