When I was 12 years old, I had a major crush on Kitty Pryde. It was her Excalibur days, and Alan Davis knows how to draw the ladies.

Most of Mission Gamma (DS9) was completely unbearable. There are plenty of good Star Trek novels out there, like pretty much anything by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens or David Mack.

Check out the Deep Space Nine novel "Unity" by S.D. Perry for a satisfying conclusion to that, as well as a reasonable connection to the Trills. Definitely one of the best DS9 novels.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, I just wish they would've given us something to show he cared.

They uncoupled the Heisenberg Compensators, obviously.

Well, yeah, but I'm sure Sisko didn't call up Picard and say "Hi there, Q dumped your ex-girlfriend, just thought you should know."

“We're not rich enough to travel, we're not poor enough to live out of our car, Mom's not on the internet stripping for money, and Dad doesn't get drunk and beat anyone.”

"Not yet!"

I actually laughed out loud at that one, which I don't do for sitcoms. Nice.

Yeah, that was very cool, except Cromwell didn't have anything to do with it. They pulled his footage from First Contact, then had a body double for all the evil stuff. It would've been so cool if they'd gotten him to deliver an evil line!

Does Hyden mean "collaborate" instead of "elaborate" in that opening paragraph? The way it's written, it sounds like these people were brought in to explain the songs to someone.

Just be glad they left out Ant-Man and the Wasp. Can you imagine how hard it would be to give them something to do while the Hulk takes down fighter jets?

I think the difference between disinterested and uninterested has been greatly exagerrated with the rise of internet posting.

I disagree that a lack of an opinion is an opinion. I get what you're saying, but I really dislike comments where someone says "I have nothing to say." It's like when someone just starts talking because they like the sound of their own voice.

I used to hate those games that were impossible to beat!

Then why post?

I think it's about people's fixation with celebrity. She gained some popularity after putting songs out on the internet, and now it's more about whether she deserves attention or not, which just gives her more attention. It's the same deadly cycle that's created reality show celebrities.

Definitely, though I'm sure he's got a bottle or two of Jameson's stashed in his quarters. I hope Quark's has Guinness!

I think you misspelled "painful" as g-o-o-d. :)

I just mention it because I've seen posts in the previous reviews saying that some were looking forward to this one in particular.

The Trek writers have never been 100% consistent about this, but a lot of the time, they use the Prime Directive to mean "Don't mess with a civilization's internal development".

Which got around the whole Cirroc Lofton problem by…
