I don't know if he has written anything else, but the two I've read (Everything is Illuminated and this one) both read as if he had screen adaptations in mind. Maybe his style is just cinematic (if that's a thing) but they almost seemed like pitches to me.

See, student teaching is a good example of a win-win because you DO get relevant work experience and its fair that you don't get paid yet. The problem is that all fields aren't created equal; in other words, there is no such equivalent in the film industry and that's just how it is. It seems like an area where it

Oooh so close, but the answer we were looking for was "seize this, honkus".

Footman and Glatt, in it together. How? Why?

I went to a pumpkin patch in rural Virginia this weekend and the girl who took the cash for the pumpkins (in a tin box, not even a register) said that working there counted as an internship for her.

Pale-ale F. Tompkins?

Unless it was a pipe that blows bubbles. In which case you went so far around that you came back to awesomeness from the other side.

This is funny because Joel McHale plays a version of Dane Cook's onstage (and presumably real-life) persona. Where Dane plays it as if it's funny, McHale plays it as "isn't it funny that other people are really like this".

Dane's World??? Dane's World?
Party time! Excellent.

You know, I lightened up towards Dane Cook after listening to his WTF interview and his appearance on Louie. Then I watched a clip on youtube to give him another chance. I realized that I had been right the first time. THEN I listened to Steve Byrne's WTF interview where he tells his side of the Dane Cook story, and I

OK I was with you on Don't Leave Me Now, and while I disagree about Goodbye Cruel World, Vera, and Bring the Boys Back Home, I can overlook your slight mistakes. But I cannot abide you cavalierly tossing out the Trial. The Trial fucking stays.

You save about 8 bits each time that way.

Now that's what I call fisticuffs

I hear you, it wasn't meant as an attack. I just mean that even if both ARE pretentious, at least Waters has some reason to be. (this is a response to CRIMINAL Lawyer. Why can't I reply to it directly???)

He'll tell you the name of the game boys…they call it riding the gravy train.

Are you 'aving a laugh? (Is he 'aving a laugh?)
The Wall is an excellently written and structured coherent work. Every bit of it makes sense right where it is. The Final Cut feels like an afterthought, like he made a half-assed attempt to re-make the Wall with new songs. I love Not Now John and Two Suns in the Sunset,

In fairness, the guy hasn't been coasting on the Wall for 30 years…he's made some fine music since then. I don't see why there's so much backlash for this idea.

On a mac, I've never had problems but on my PC I have had errors a few times. Both FF. (sincerely don't mean this comment to sound like coffee-shop-mac-hipster bullshit)
