Oddly, I had the opposite reaction.  I find the fact that BFF's parents go to Wilco utterly horrifying, because it probably means they're my age, which means I'm old enough that I could have a child regularly posting on AV Club.

It makes me sad every time I read about a guy like Waid, or Patton Oswalt, who just bailed on DC when they did the New 52.  I understand there point and I don't blame them for doing it, but I just love those characters so much that it makes me sad to see anyone writing them off.
