I have made the hula burger at home, and I gotta say, Kroc was right. It's pretty great.

I had those new Spicy McChickens. Smaller than my fist. They're new!

…Nuggets?

Eat up, sheeple!

I don't know. The communicator still has a few tricks up its sleeve. My iPhone can't reach a ship in another part of the solar system.

That's what I was thinking of, but I haven't read it.

Yeah, I thought stardates were a brilliant invention, and I also remember reading somewhere they did it so that they didn't have to worry about nailing down dates. The dates did start to creep in, though, and ruined the whole point of stardates to the level that the stardates in the reboot films are just the calendar

Leader has a normal-sized body. Well, unless there's been a recent development.

Picard had books.

"'Do it'? Josh, I'm not some Big Three network CEO. Do you seriously think I'd cancel 'The Comedians' if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I did it 35 minutes ago."

I also love it. I mean, it's terrible, but it's so crazy (and watchable). I first saw it when I was about 15, three decades or so after it came out. Joanna Pettet in that Mata Hari outfit…holy cats.

With "China," while the art is simplistic, it moves really well. Does that make sense? I don't know. It does to me.

I WISH Obama would take away all the Spider-Man reboots.

There's porn. And stock quotes!

I'm the only one in my office who was a kid in the 80s (everyone's way older or way younger) and when Jackson died, I remarked how it felt super-weird that he was dead. Like, it just felt weird he wasn't a part of the world anymore. Everyone absolutely tore into me.

R.I.P. BPRD ripoff RIPD.

God, the aliens were all perfect. I even kind of forgive the concept behind the suit; if you've got to outfit a bunch of crazy aliens for your army, of course it has to be something that works for all their bodies.

Yeah, there are a lot of reasons that this movie failed, and maybe people not liking Reynolds was one of them, but he basically was Hal Jordan. If you read the Silver Age books, he spent a lot of time attending galas (in costume!) and generally being a cocky guy. This was just the modern equivalent.

I keep seeing this criticism. I think we're so used to seeing the random bits of surplus electronics and plumbing arranged in a given way on backpacks and the top of a car that it looks weird to see those surplus bits arranged in a different way. I honestly cannot see how this looks bad compared to the originals.
