I was just thinking the exact same thing!  That book is a terrific read, not just for hip hop heads but for anyone curious about the NYC arts scene in the lat 70s/early 80s.

I've always made it a point to buy music legally, and I really don't mind having only digital copies to own going forward.  I do miss the audio quality of CDs.  I'm kind of baffled as to why Apple and Amazon can't/won't provide a download option for a lossless codec of some kind.

I agree that that's likely the message they're aiming at, but it gets lost in all this mess.  Especially since suicide IS the solution for Tarlokk/Amon.
