I came here to make a joke about how AV Club editors just play Mad Libs to figure out what to write about.
A piano cover of Where Is My Mind does play, and it totally verifies the homage. Major difference: In Fight Club, the end is a HUGE reveal that his friend is imaginary. In Mr. Robot, that's pretty obvious a few episodes into the first season and the twists all exist peripherally to that.
I saw this tour in Dallas about a year ago and since then I've been searching for the lyrics/recording/anything of one of the musical numbers. It's about wedding vows and cats (trying not to spoil the joke for those who haven't heard it). Can someone on the internet help?
I came here to post exactly this but then you posted it so I'll just second your feelings.
He hosted the Emmy's in 2010, not 2014.
Cool take on a cool song.

I got a "Good for you" notification for this?
Nah, there was the time that Adam Scott and Jon Daly did a round of golf which was pretty funny.
The majority of his fanbase is still the YouTube obsessives. He's earned better fans, but they're still out there.
I always got that the joke was that the job requirement to work in IT essentially amounted to being able to turn on a computer, and that many "smart" people cannot do that.
Huge spoiler at the beginning of the episode when there was no Nudity warning, so we knew that Margery was getting out of her Walk of Shame.
I'm not sexist, but cheeseburgers are delicious!
Add Alicia Keys' Girl on Fire to the Joan of Arc movie. It would be terrible, but it wasn't that great to start with.
I visited Tampa one time and was intrigued to learn that that city has more strip clubs than schools. I thought that was neat.
They tightened up those rules. Both will be miniseries.
It's such a blunder that sometimes I even wonder why I even bring the thunder.
They're only there one weekend. Willie will be there on Weekend 2, while Chris Stapleton will be there Weekend 1.
