I know this might be near-blasphemous, but I think I like the OB4CL2 even better.

For me, the example of this that always comes to mind is 'Everyone I Went to High School With is Dead' from Mr Bungle's Disco Volante.
Actually, TUSK is the name of a new Japanese girl group he's been getting into, and the fact that it's relevant to this article is merely an uncanny coincidence.
He was a rollerskating waiter, if I remember correctly.
Season six was one of the most boring seasons of television I've watched. So little story, so much repetition, so many montages, so… many… fucking… pauses. And the ending… christ. I would've given up on it if the friends I was watching it with weren't determined to make it to the end. We've bailed on it now, and from…
His Cantina band rendition is amazing.
I'm that sucker who likes every album in their catalogue, even though I can't really defend them (though Octahedron is actually pretty decent). I still agree that Deloused is far and away their best album, of course.
I love 'Up in the Dark' and 'A Bite Out of My Bed', good to see them getting recognition.
If nothing else, these lists have reminded me that (a) the NPs have an unbelievably high number of amazing tracks, and (b) the fact that there is little to no consensus on their best songs shows just how strong their catalogue is.
Big fan of Together too.
Oh shit. Now I'll be up all night trying to narrow down my favourite NPs tracks into a top ten list. Thanks a lot, buddy.
Yeah, I know. Bizarre.
Using 'The Bleeding Heart Show' repeatedly as a point of comparison for the entire album is weird. Plus, describing the title track as 'downtempo' is bizarre. And this is their sixth album, which makes about half their output the 'rehearsed-and-mature' stuff - not that their discography divides as neatly into two…
Murder ain't no thang, but this here is some assassination shit!
P: Please give me lots of money as recompense for this heinous act
Operation P.R.O.M.O.T.E.R. S.U.E.
Me too - try listening to it again. I definitely enjoyed it a lot more as an adult than as a 13 year-old.
Weirdly enough, back in 1998 when my friend told me that their new album was going to be called 'Adore', I heard it as 'A Door'. I don't know if Billy can really take the credit for that, though.
And then of course there's "For Martha", "Behold! The Night Mare", "Once Upon a Time"… I totally dismissed Adore when it came out (I guess because it wasn't rockin' enough for my teenage self), but I listened to it again recently and was blown away by how much I enjoyed it.
What's this about a Sha Na Na TV show? Don't tell Hot Dog!
