I felt the same way at the time, but recently rewatched the Sopranos all the way through and the ending was actually handled much better than I remembered. I won't say it's not a bit pretentious, but it has aged well.

The 60s was good.. Or at least it had it's charm, it's not intelligent writing or anything but the retro space age art design is great and it's clearly written for both kids and adults. Not smart or particularly funny, but entirely comfortable and watchable. Like The Flintstones at its best.

They should really find a way to give Paul F Tompkins a role on this show

Hopefully, if she tries real hard, one of these days she can be the first youngest nominee.

You're not wrong.

Except for the fact that pimps are just as often latino in the movies?

It should be noted that she and David Duchovny have uncomfortably similar faces.

I agree that it's a stretch. The "flashy pimp" is a cartoon character who only really exists in blaxpoitation movies and comedy. Not that there probably weren't some actual black pimps and wannabes wearing outlandish 70s clothes but it's never been grounded in reality. It's also as much of an immediately recognizable

Going by that photo I think he's also a lovable serial killer who only kills other serial killers.

Yeah but Vic was an asshole throughout the entirety of the Shield. He never had any interest in redemption, it was greed, power and self-preservation all the way through.

Yeah, total fail. "Wuss Rock" is a very specific genre that peaked with REO Speedwagon. This is more like "Music From or Inspired By Old Navy Commercials."

I don't know. You think Fox either accidentally or purposely hired some 20-odd writers who are unabashedly racist and are using this platform to promote their hateful agenda? Isn't it more likely that the Family Guy creative process basically encourages going for the easiest, most offensive joke possible because

I wouldn't go as far as to call the whole roomful of Family Guy writers racists. They're lazy and, I think, irresponsible going for easy racial humor, but I don't think it comes from a position of hate or true racism, as much as thinking it's "edgy" or whatever to push boundaries and buttons.

So are you guys big Naked Truth fans? Because that's not actually a band, Dead Milkmen just thought it would be funny to throw a fake name in there.

The "plant" idea really is pretty ridiculous. Walt is waiting for assassins to come kill him, so instead he has a cigarette stolen by Sal, gets that cigarette, goes to Jesse's house, breaks in when the kid is there but the mom isn't (I guess?) and convinces the kid to lick a poison cigarette. Because all kids
