That kind of happens in "Grizzly".  The Hooper clone gets attacked and knocked unconcious, the grizzly buries him, the Hooper comes to just long enough to dig himself out and get killed by the grizzly anyway.

I also thought it was that guy for those very reasons.  I've seen like 20 minutes of "Third Watch" out of the 95 seasons it ran, so the fact that the secretary was "that gal who was in that thing" meant absolutely nothing to me at first.
