Yes, one of the reasons it's my go to example of a dumb AT fan theory (one that I didn't just make up, it's actually out there). And I equate that to the PB is evil theory.

that's like saying if you've seen one gandalf's sword, you've seen all gandalf's swords. You seem to imply that if you've seen one 9mm glock you've seen all guns, but really you've just seen all 9mm glocks, which is just one particular gun out of hundreds if not thousands of incredibly varied and unique designs. The

Within the context of the show's universe none of that was evil. I don't know, I'd go so far as to say that the fan theory that PB is evil and will become Finn's primary antagonist is about as bad and unimaginative as the theory that the show is just some kid's coma dream.

The version of Grievous they ended up with really baffles/fascinates me, as they already had a pretty fantastic version in Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars, but they just sort of tossed that aside. The coughing didn't bother me so much, but that accent. Boy.

That occurred to me as well, especially because it as from him that I learned that the asteroid belt is mostly empty space.

Look, what we're trying to say is, of course some people liked the prequels. But the majority didn't. I'm not even going to go the extra step and say that the majority is right, but they are a majority and that is inarguable.

Yeah Kind of ridiculous when you think about it, that barely twenty years ago you had super powered wizards fighting with real magic in what must have been a very well documented, galactic conflict, and already you have skeptics that write it off as superstition and old religion. If you can look up a video of a Jedi

The prequels are objectively bad films. It's not even about hating them, its just acknowledging a simple fact of reality.

I'm pretty sure not everyone agrees that cat piss tastes terrible, but you know what? The ones who do are of the vast majority and the ones who think it tastes like lemonade are a weird, weird minority who don't deserve mention.

Yeah no one said boy these prequels sure were crappy, maybe the originals weren't that good after all. Nobody is saying Empire isn't as good as we all think it is.

Pretty sure that opening sequence is all Errol and Dora

ok, its not *just* that he's crazy, the cult obviously has a mythology of their own and certain rituals they perform. Dora Lange was a part of one of those rituals. I guess What I'm trying to get at is, knowing that it's rooted in a religion of some kind is enough for the audience to go on. Do we really need to

oh yeah that's right. I guess finding out she's almost 1,000 years old sort of replaced her mortality in my memory

I'm pretty sure that's the flute Finn's had since season 1. He probably just gave it to lemonhope

Its especially disturbing because PB is supposedly immortal, so one would expect that, while Finn and most of the characters we know would be gone come a thousand years, PB and her candy kingdom should still be around. The fact that it isnt suggests something really bad happened.

I felt like they answered everything they needed to. Why was Dora Lange put on display? You might as well ask why does Errol kill people? Why's he got his dad tied up on the bed with his mouth sewn shut? Why's he affecting a Cary Grant accent and making flowers with his half sister? The answer to all of the above

It could be something as simple as, "well, we have the rights to this particular child-like painting, might as well use it."

The episodes post mid-season break feel like the start of a new season, but they're not…the structure of this season would be baffling if not for that break.

Yeah this seems pretty likely. I guess it would just feel redundant to me in the final episode, as Marty already has his motivation to help Rust. The snuff film was the show's opportunity to involve his daughter, I think, and they didn't.

But the gay prostitute wasn't involved in a big ceremony like that. He was subject to another aspect of the cult that preyed on students at the charter schools.
