Oh wow, that's right. If you'd asked me, I would have guessed at least one of them was Richard Hunt or Marty Robinson or somebody. But he played all three of them, and they all sound different. Amazing.

Verrry interesting. I've always admired the meta lyrics of the song, but I didn't realize the lyrics were so self-aware as well. It's pretty great that they did a song about how unoriginal all pop hits are, and it became a huge pop hit.

Yeah, I'm not convinced the virgin-deflowering interpretation is true. If only because my friends and I spent so much time as innocent children singing and beat-boxing along with it.

What if the Giver was a Muppet?

I enjoyed Threshold. It was probably the best of the barrage of mythology-heavy shows that premiered the season after LOST.

Was it really aimed at preschool-age kids, though? Sure, Muppet stuff always has a certain kid appeal, but that movie also had jokes about The Passion of the Christ and Girls Gone Wild.

They're actually pretty good if you hold the E-Z Cheese.

Watching through these seasons on Netflix, I was surprised to see that they did bring Tyrone Green back, at least twice, in sketches. One of those times they even had him recite that poem again. It was not as funny as the first time.

The Teddy Ruxpin cartoon was pretty epic. If I remember right, it told one long, continuing story with Teddy and Grubby on some kind of quest for a legendary treasure. Also there was one where they went surfing.

Across the Universe had no reason to exist. But I thought Evan Rachel Wood's performance of "Hold Me Tight" was good. Just a straightforward interpretation of a rock 'n' roll song, with no aggressively trippy visuals or multiple Salma Hayeks.

Eric Idle is one of those people that I'm surprised never worked with the Muppets. The closest they ever got was this guy, who kinda looks like him: http://muppet.wikia.com/wik…
