Goddamn do I love Aladdin Sane. I just had that record framed on my wall. But I agree, not the best Bowie to start with. Ziggy is a good choice.

If I remember correctly, it was around season 6. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My high school drama club did Tommy my junior year. I played guitar in the pit band. Needless to say, awesome.
My freshman class got to see Zeffirelli's R&J as well. It was great because the entire class was talking throughout the movie, then all of a sudden, Olivia Hussey stands up naked and the class went dead silent. It was a beautiful moment.

My class read it in 7th grade as well, but then we read it again in 10th grade. I still have no idea why.

For any Western History Class…
A Hard Days Night.
The Simpsons
In my A.P. American History class, my teacher played "Homer Vs. the Eighteenth Amendment" to teach us about prohibition. Goddamn that was a great day in education.
No way, of all of the early seasons, it's either 4 or 6. But honestly, any of the first 8 works.

But in retrospect that seemed very un-Kubrickian. So I think that it's more about them moving on without really taking to heart what had…
Yeah, that TV adaptation that King did with Steven Weber as Jack was so much more faithful and therefore awesome. Oh wait…
Barack Obama, the nation's first O.G. president.
