And of course there are plenty in South America.

Gibbons obviously doesn't come off very well either, but the whole thing makes Moore look like a giant asshole. In my opinion. Not just what happened, but how open he is about explaining each step of the way how he was wronged in order to get public opinion against Gibbons. It all seems so sordid and petty and ugly.

That's what you got out of that? Interesting.

Like tinny or bronzey.

I didn't say I agreed with him, just that I understand why he came to that misguided conclusion.

Yeah, he was a sensitive artist kid from Vermont who got introduced to the big bad world in NYC and then the same thing happened on a much larger scale on 9/11, and he reacted the same way. It's terrible and it lead to some awful comics, but its understandable.

Took me a bit to find the interview:

He's not entirely wrong.

And sexual assault?

I wish I'd stopped before Century. The writing was on the wall in The Black Dossier but like an idiot I came back for more when Century came out. Between that, and his "last interview ever" where he explains how his long friendship with Dave Gibbons fell apart, I lost a lot of respect for Moore.

He's already appeared in all seven Harry Potter books. Robbie Coltrane played him in the movies, albeit a bit more like his Affable Al persona from 1963.

Like his beard!

… I probably shouldn't.

It's a bit sloppy and uneven, but it gave me the feeling of hanging out with Grant and talking comics at the counter of a shop with him.

My Super-knowledge is not as encyclopedic as I'd like (although I do own the Superman Encyclopedia); I'm actually surprised that evil Lois was the first Superwoman.

WW because of Greg Rucka, Nightwing because of Dick Grayson, and Deathstroke because of Christopher Priest. I gave the first issue of Detective Comics a chance, but was really disappointed that Clayface was not Matt Hagen.

The rumor that Sawyer may be the love interest for Alex has me excited - and not in a prurient way - mostly because I think Alex is one of the better characters and she needs more to do.

This is one of those things I'm going to have to get in trade, because I have a pretty hard line about sticking to just 3 Rebirth books because of the double ships. Much as I'd like to be checking more out, my wallet is not bottomless.

No she wasn't. The original Superwoman was from Earth-3.

They already have too many characters they are not doing enough with (More Martian Manhunter, dammit!) and adding Maggie Sawyer and an actual Superman and such is going to clutter them up further. Lucy didn't really serve much of a purpose anyway.
