Yeah, it does.

Oh, that's right. And rape. He likes lots and lots of rape.

While I don't share that particular opinion, I am working my way through season 3 for the first time myself (about 4 eps from the end) and I am generally amused by all the doom and gloom in the comments sections. I am enjoying it way more than people appeared to have enjoyed it when it was broadcast.

One of those pet peeves of mind.

When has Alan Moore ever liked anything?

That would be my friend who just texted me with the news…

"We are the music makers. We are the dreamers of dreams."

No. Little and Wilder nailed it.

Nope. Fuck you. I'm not capable of handling this today.

Anton Arcane.

If this was a Penguin movie, I'd actually be excited. But we both know it won't be.

I think more superhero movies should do "small scale." Just because you wear your underwear on the outside of your pants doesn't mean you can't care about the little people.

I think the other books bear out - as the current presidential election does - that there are a lot of "reg'lar" wizard folks who are keen about racial purity.

"Mentally"? Doesn't Slade Wilson only use 90% of his brain?

Victor Von Doom.

Oh man, that sucks. Identity Crisis is pretty awful even for those of us who have a high tolerance for superhero comics bullshit. I would hate to have you judge an entire medium or genre based on one of its worst examples. It would be like deciding you don't like movies because the first one you ever saw was

Deadpool is NOT Deathstroke. Somehow.

Not exactly this weekend, but I saw that "Jack the Giant Slayer" thing that Bryan Singer made this past week. It was pretty not good. I'm glad I skipped it in the theater, although the comment thread on the review page suggests that I seriously contemplated seeing it. I must have been out of my mind.

We took L'il Punk to his first visit ever to a Lego store. I thought he might explode from pure excitement. He came home with a pretty good haul, I had to build a few things for him, and today he's working out how to build them himself. He's pretty sharp for just 4 years old.
