While I love the Drafthouse and their policy against assholes, I judge the hypocrisy of this when some of their goddamn waitstaff won't speak softly. And yeah, I'm looking at you, Drafthouse waitress who loudly came to drop our check and ask if we needed anything else during the lesbo scene in "Black Swan."

Man, the mule chase is some of the worst action direction I've ever seen in a big studio movie. I'm guessing the budgetary concerns are halfway to blame, but nothing worried me more about Whedon directing The Avengers than how crappy that turned out.

What I'm saying is that its not even a decent showcase role for Ansari. He's not as bad as Ann Perkins or Mark Brandanawhatever, but he's only mildly funny. Now Family Guy made a crack about Chris Pratt, then we'd have a genuine issue on our hands.

I don't know that I'd go so far as to call Aziz Ansari "a million times funnier" on Parks and Rec. He's been pretty rudderless and stranded on the show since Ron Swanson stole all the thunder several seasons ago.
