I'm not sure. There aren't ANY big twists or surprises in the movie. I guess it's just a J.J. Abrams thing.

Yeah, that was a little much.

SPOILER ALERT:

Production
I've been watching Larry Sanders on IFC and I've been wondering if the DVD transfers are framed better. In the filmed segments there are a bunch of boom mic sightings and visible camera hoods and reflectors, etc. Some of it looks downright sloppy.

Are magazines these days really capable of turning away ANY advertising?

Yeah I'm puzzled by the B as well. This is lazy, lazy work from people who had a fucking blank check to make whatever they wanted.

I thought Galifianakis played Tairy Greene in "Due Date."

I second that I thought we were leading up to Jim stepping up.

I personally loved how every time Jim tried to manage he basically became Michael, as if the job just did that to everyone.

Kemper and McLendon-Covey totally kiss each other in the movie.

Also a fact: Chris had one line he said twice in this week's Family Guy.

I dunno
I laughed. It's certainly not the show it once was and really came across as wheel-spinning, but it's hardly the dire gloom fest this review seems to indicate.

Although someone must have described the scene in detail to Michael when Toby announced he was leaving for Costa Rica in the lobby since he was in New York with Ryan, Dwight, and the Drug Hobbit at the time.

Cast Johnny Depp as Smee, shift the story to focus on him even though it makes no sense, put him in a stupid wig and hat.

It's obvious
Clearly "Mars Needs Moms" failed because of the presence of Dan fucking Fogler. See how he killed "Take Me Home Tonight" last week?

Bias
As an acknowledged Gallagher fan, the bitter, angry Gallagher that pops up in interviews saddens me.

Ugh
This movie is really laughably terrible. The review is far too kind.

Call it:
The Jay Leno Show.

Too bad
I was at least hoping for some Miley boobage a la that episode where Lindsay Lohan jiggled around as Hermione.

Jim and Dwight were basically telling him to hike the fence and break into Jo's house.
