It's still very early though.

I don't think the gun mistake made her an idiot, she's still in the process of training with weapons and self-defense and whatnot. Being an expert in computer science doesn't mean she knows how to handle a weapon. The safety/clip thing was actually one of the few bits I liked about this episode, but I don't think

Smugly telling me about the quality and freshness of Wendy's products — WHO THE HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?

Sierra was so heartbreaking. God bless her and Victor.

I feel like they are each the most underwritten on the whole show, May in particular. At least Simmons has some personality (although so far it's just the female version of Fitz), I literally have no idea why May went from her desk job to pilot to field agent when all she ever does is give Coulson dirty looks.

…you may be in the wrong thread. Actually, "punish[ing girls] for their insolence," sounds like another website entirely, please take your exceedingly creepy misogyny elsewhere.

Can't agree on May. She's the most underwritten character I've seen in a long time. I have no idea why she's even present.

I though that too, but there's cartoons on Saturday mornings for that. I'm not saying this should be all dark and gritty, far from it, but why not play to the audience of adults who are just as big of fans (if not more so) of the property and have money to spend on it to boot?

Oh yeah, I'm definitely of those who felt Dollhouse was kinda painful for the first half of the first season, but "Man on the Street" (the sixth episode) onward I was absolutely hooked.

When did I say I don't like Skye?

I'm okay with Fitz. Simmons annoys me so far. And I know they're not siblings but what the hell is their deal? Just secret agent school BFFs?

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be patient and give the show the opportunity to improve on issues like this (seeing as how ABC gave it the full season order), but it's definitely a significant drawback for me.

I just hate that there haven't been any explanations or even slivers of suggestions of explanations for either of those two big decisions she's made.

Edit: Skye reminds me of the Wendy's "Now that's better!" girl, in that she's both sexy and pretty.

I just wish Fitz didn't go all bashful nerd. It's such a tired cliche.

May is the worst, she barely exists. No motivation and no facial expressions other than irritated. Just retire already. Seriously, why did she decide to join the team? Why did she decide to enter the field again? No reasons, just irritated reactions all the time.

The show is already guaranteed 22 episodes so that combined with the fact that this is fairly unprecedented (in that it's directly tied to the Marvel movies) and the seasonal arcs have (presumably) been structured by Joss (plus I liked Dollhouse so Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen get my benefit of the doubt) I'm

Never mind. I don't know why I momentarily thought Sons was on Wednesdays and not Tuesdays.

What is up with What's On Tonight and Sons of Anarchy?

This is how I felt about Grown Ups.
