Wow. The vinyl sounds better than CD myth keeps on truckin'.

Did you also create liner notes and stuff?
The format is not the problem. It's the engineer (likely) who created the shitty mix that would be the problem.
Worst format? For audio quality perhaps. But for portability, recordability and size it packed quite a punch.
Please elaborate on why Chronicles needed to be "self-aware". Doesn't that very characteristic take you out of a movie? Some winking to the audience can be fun — but this film was trying to draw on epic space fantasy, not goofy sci-fi fun. Your mileage may vary on how successfully it was at being the former, but I'm…
The Hip definitely would be the go to band for Ontario's choice. As has already been mentioned, "Bobcaygeon" would be an obvious choice as would be "Fifty Mission Cap" (among many others).
Like some have said, I've never been a big fan of Sarah Silverman but this article, and her sweet eulogy to the love of her life (let's just call it what it was), just got to me.
It sounds callous and cold, but that advice is sound for ANY relationship. Wallowing in misery after breaking up with a girl or guy who you thought was the love of your life is, well, a waste of life.
@avclub-0c4eda39c04c2b0566526710ddfa7dad:disqus Who are you? Heller's publicist? It's surely an opinion piece but readers have the right to challenge the ridiculousness (or non-ridiculousness) of said opinion piece.
@avclub-0c4eda39c04c2b0566526710ddfa7dad:disqus This wasn't a "best of" article. This was a "best" article.
I can see how you can disagree with the first point — but you clearly cannot with the last two.
Not better, not a remake and not called 'John Carpenter of Mars'.
For those who enjoy anime:
@avclub-0c4eda39c04c2b0566526710ddfa7dad:disqus The article states categorically "why" Unwound is "the best band of the 90s".
Damnit. How could I forget a vampire cop show that took place in my neck of the woods (TO)?
Can we be done with police procedurals too? Or should we just introduce a vampire cop show and go straight to hell?
@GhaleonQ:disqus No one would ever argue that Miyazaki's animation skill is particularly impressive. But story-wise? Try reading "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" and then tell me he's not in the same league as Yuasa.
Again?
Masaaki Yuasa greater than Miyazaki? I mean, sure, it's your opinion and all… but it's completely, totally and absolutely wrong.
"You Should be Dancing", "Tragedy, "How Deep is Your Love", "Jive Talkin" and "Stayin Alive" would like to have a word with you.
