Wait a second, Larson was only 35 years old on that show? He looks more like he was 49! Crazy.

I guess the way I look at it is that an adapted screenplay can be as difficult to conceive as an original. Taking someone else's vision and trying to modify it from book to screen while maintaining the integrity of the work and creating a satisfying translation to another medium can be a Herculean effort. Not too

It is a bit hokey but there are dongles that copy-protect and provide security that are still used today. It's such a fun movie that I have no issues suspending disbelief. :-)

Is that the click of the PVR button??

It wasn't just fear that Hitler fostered with the people. Hitler instilled a sense of national pride, hope and direction that had been lost and trampled since WWI.

Martin still has 2 books to write to complete the series so it really is anyone's guess if he can maintain the level of quality through to the end. There's also the notion of whether HBO will continue to deliver the goods in terms of its excellent adaptation. I see no reason that the quality on either side of the

Wtf? Taking an epic series of books that demands a production that is absolutely staggering in scale and somehow adapting it to television… and being fucking incredible at the same time? I don't think you're giving AGoT the credit it's due.

Am I the only one who finds New Girl *wildly* uneven? I mean, I really like it… I think?

You're trying way too hard to hate on A Song of Ice and Fire, my friend.

I'm sorry, what's not to like about dragons and lesbian whores?

Don't we have more sugar in our food today?

Sid Meier's "Civilization" seems to be the most appropriate answer per video games. Not only is it an unbelievably phenomenal series of games, but it seems quite appropos to the situation….

I said the same words when I was 20. I'm 37 now and I most certainly don't feel the same way. I tried watching it the other day and found it rather intolerable.

I'm going to guess you'd kill to look like this guy. Caterpillar eyebrows and all.

I would prefer a Jack Burton rendition, actually. :-)

Is it possible that Kurt Russell would have been even more right for the part than Harrison Ford?

It's a bit ridiculous to proclaim the film version as "terrible" when it's a complete and total lift from the source material. No? I mean, I guess Snyder could have taken artistic

Mia Sara in "Legend" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and Jennifer Connelly in "Labyrinth". I was around 10-11 years old at the time those films came out and those ladies absolutely changed everything about who I was from that point on.

Ugh… double post! Ignore! :-P

To all the naysayers of Snyder's "Watchmen", I keep hearing the drone of "a valiant effort, but he just didn't get it" but I have yet to hear a coherent reason as to why people feel this way.
