Two post-scripts
Bouton has a pretty great supporting role in "The Long Goodbye" and later starred in a TV adaptation of "Ball Four" that wasn't supposed to be particularly good but that I'd love to see anyway.

nope.

maybe.

Wow
I had no idea Michael Moore inspired such strong reactions. No wait, actually I did.

I hear that the sexual chemistry between Candy and Lewis on "Wagons East" is explosive.

I was exaggerating a little for comic effect but I nevertheless do have a visceral negative to seeing or hearing him, which is a little odd considering I generally like what he does.

It's called "Switched". I guess it's airing on Canada's answer to TVLand, though I do not know when. I taped it a while back. I don't think it's airing anywhere else.

Yes it was and sadly he looks like a man on the verge of a heart attack.

yeah, it's interesting how Moore can inspire love and hate within the same person.

The cover of Grievous Angel
Apparently Gram wanted "Grievous Angel" credited to himself and Emmylou Harris and planned a lovely cover of the two of them sitting together for it. Needless to say, this did not please his jealous, estranged wife, which is why the cover of the album features a deeply unflattering picture

Yeah, I rewatched "Fallen Angel" for this. It's a remarkable story. It's fucked up that they made a movie about the wacky misadventures of his corpse yet there's never been a proper biopic of the man himself.

No, though I've been trying to read a biography or autobiography about everyone I cover. That's a fairly time-intensive process so I like to get a little more bang for my buck.

May you live to be a thousand years old.

How do you know he doesn't?

I'm having difficulty posting it for some reason
but check this shit out:

I do not have the legacy edition though I'm thinking I should.

you make a good point. It's certainly a lot easier for men to age in popular culture than it is for women.

oddly enough someone actually said I looked a little like Shel Silverstein last week. Weird.

not a day goes by that I'm not grateful I'm no longer in high school. Everybody ages but you definitely choice as to how you treat the aging process. I felt an enormous weight lift off my shoulders when I decided not to fight going bald and gray.

Thanks. I've been keeping my humanity a secret all these years. I guess a little of it must have slipped out.
