This went direct-to-DVD?
I have a hard time believing that.

Donuts was on the list until I checked Wikipedia and saw it came out several days before he died. So it was right on the line.

yeah, the commercials posit it as a raunchy sex comedy, which it so is not.

Even terrible blaxploitation movies tend to have terrific scores and sountracks. Needless to say, Marvin Gaye's "Trouble Man" long ago usurped the film of the same name.

I saw "Black Dynamite" at Sundance. It was good for money a larf.

I like your style, Karatloz.

They invited Josh, who asked us if we wanted to go. Generally The A.V Club gets invited to things rather than a specific person.

that is the kindest thing that has ever been written about me. Thanks.

yeah, that has been fixed. Hopefully. Dang gremlins, always with the tomfoolery and the . sabotage.

Oh, we talked about "Southland Tales" all right, but that conversation is for another time and place. We would totally Random Roles Jon Lovitz. I'm a fan. We could discuss ACTING!

There is never any need to apologize
for having a different opinion about a movie than myself.

I'm definitely considering "Brothers Solomon" for MYOF. The year it came out it made less money than any other film in wide release (which means it's 1 in the worst conceivable way) and I definitely have a soft spot for it. Some great gags and a very likable tone.

I recently interviewed someone who described "Hell Comes To Frogtown" as the worst piece of shit he'd ever been involved with. Here's the fun part: he was promoting a movie in which he is killed by Rob Jeremy's evil penis. Needless to say, it was a pretty awesome interview.

I saw this at Sundance. It's terrible and not in a very interesting way.

I just watched the episode in question
thanks to a link from a commenter. It's too late to post a review (and I'm fucking exhausted) but it was fucking great and I will totes give it an A when I wake up.

you can totally discuss the Office on the Office page. I made a new post for this episode so you guys can chop it up before I have a chance to see the big show.

Actually I just did that. Comment away!

That's actually not a bad idea. I might just do that.

I always did want to go out Mishima-style. I've lived my life like him. It only makes sense I'd die like him as well.

"Big Stan" is a very affable movie. Its heart is in the right place.
