Yes, yes I am.

Yeah, but "The Delinquents" stars Tom Laughlin AKA Billy Jack. That's gotta be worth something. Fun fact: one of the contributing photographers in "The James Dean Story" is one Russ Meyer. I suspect he took all the low-angle photos of giant-breasted women jiggling hypnotically.

Actually I think they have a lot more in common they you might imagine. Behind the corn there's an awful lot of darkness and cynicism in "Forrest Gump".

Finian's Rainbow?
Really? Wow, really bending to the will of the people with that one, aren't you?

That was definitely one of my favorite moments, largely because he was so totally not joking and really thought Jim would be happy to give him expert counsel on the matter. Also wouldn't telling Jim defeat the whole idea of keeping their fling a complete secret?

I totally thought you were going to accuse me of some pot-calling-the-kettle-black hypocrisy there. Thanks 4 refraining.

It's exactly like that.

You know, I've never seen "Perfect World" though I've always been curious bout it. I'm putting it in my Netflix cue right about now.

I'm changing it now so you'll both appear insane.

I co-sign on Warren Oates and pretty much everyone mentioned above.

I concur that Powers Boothe is, in fact, the man. Especially in Walter Hill movies

Congrats
on another great B V. entry. I actually saw/reviewed "Girl" back in the day (man, we were hurting for video reviews back then). All I really remember about it is how much Sean Patrick Flannery or whoever the male lead was, looked like David Cassidy although looking back it had a pretty inarticulate, fuzzy

Nate Ra: I like that. I may have to co-opt it for my own sinister purposes.

That's definitely a possibility. I'm thinking bout' doing a Soderbergh month with Solaris, Full Frontal, Kafka and/or The Good German. Ooh, and maybe "Bubble". The man has made a lot of interesting flops. And that's not even including his television work.

Jim and Pam are awesome
Stop being so fucking cynical, you black-hearted rat bastard.

There will be sandwich girls but they will be of the mouthy variety. Like that Conan O'Brien lesbian.

pissed off by that first commenter that I thought an entirely new thread was necessary.

I love that movie. It's eight different kinds of awesome. Weird sidebar: There was a Karl Malden/Eli Wallach joke on the Classic Saturday Night Live I'm writing up tomorrow as well. Strange coincidence, eh?

Shut up
you. I don't need to take your shit, jerkwad.

Dude
Where's the Office blog?! Don't you be sleeping on the job.
