No mention of his role in Psych? For shame AV Club, for shame.

Didn't Sorkin lambast this sort of attitude in the West Wing? I recall during the reelection story arch one of Bruno's people wanting to use the line "We are the envy of the world" and Toby laughing in his face and then smacking him on the nose with a newspaper.
Go On was a nice show, it just seemed to have trouble finding an audience. The reviews here were generally positive as well. Not sure about Mr. Sunshine.
Doing a search of Gabrielle Reece, whose name I recognize but couldn't quite remember what she does, is mostly pics of a woman in a bikini, so I don't see where she gets to criticize the Lingerie Football League for essentially wearing the same thing as beach volleyball players.
How did the Jews get brought into this? Well, then how do they ever, I suppose.
I always thought she was pretty homely as well, but the short haircut was pretty cute, but now she is back to being 'meh' again. I suppose I am passed the stage where willingness to bare skin is enough to make me think someone is sexy.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
I don't think it was offensive as much as it was hilarious, though probably for all the wrong reasons. I think it was supposed to come off as 'look how wild I am!' and ended up 'look how hard I am trying to come off as wild'! The Beetlejuice photoshop and Smith clan reaction pics have made it all worthwhile.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Michael Richards episode, to be honest. I would have thought that would have popped up sooner. Still haven't seen any of Season 2 yet. I did see The Colbert Report where Jerry was there to talk about the show and it was incredibly awkward. I recommend it if you haven't seen…
Cersei and Jaime have had a pretty long lasting relationship too.
This isn't a film version of Jerry and George's pilot script?
That isn't fair, people like Thomas Lennon.
I agree. I remember thinking it was decent little bit of cinematic cotton. Perhaps the problem is that the cast almost overshadows the film; It is a B movie with a AAA cast, which brings expectations. Gene Hackman popping up at the end was a pleasant surprise, and I always love seeing J.K. Simmons.
Sounds like she took it hard.
Byrne had a lot more time to work with to tell the story, not two and a half hours, but that storyline also had Superman make the decision ahead of time and kill a lot more people. In this instance a fresh out the Fortress Superman is forced to make a split second decision to stop one other Superman. How did it not…
It had been shown that Clark was pretty good at forging documents earlier in the film. I mean, if he can get a job on a military research facility looking at UFO's I can't imagine it is more difficult faking a resume (something that doesn't even take super powers) to get a job at the Bugle.
In the comics Superman has killed before, including General Zod (though in that instance he just Green Kryptonited them to death) as well as Doomsday. Excluding Doomsday, who like Superman recovered from death, the impact on Superman from killing the alt universe Kryptonians weighed heavily on him for quite a long…
Superman For All Seasons should be on that list somewhere.
"against a coming environmental cataclysm. This is the first of the
movie’s many half-hearted attempts at political relevance"
He wasn't even close to the only black person in the club. It closes in on the guy lip-synching the lyrics at that moment, but before and after that and in all the other shots of the club you see a variety of ethnicity and gender.
