I walked out of Descendants half-way through to be honest. It bored the hell out of me and that voice-over was awful.  Forgive me if the second half of the movie is phenomenal.

"weary ruthlessness makes him an outstanding and unique villain" is a great way of putting it.  Especially considering the pizzeria scene.
