No one's trying to make Revolution "a thing." I think people, almost everyone who's been watching and commenting on the AVClub, appreciate the strides the show has gone to be a better and more cohesive product that's endlessly more enjoyable than last season.

I agree. I don't watch, but I'm happy there are shows like The Middle that can make it to 100. Going back on Wikipedia, it premiered to a 2.6 in the A18-49 demo and 8.7 million viewers. Its last episode (#99) did a 2.2 in the A18-49 demo and 8.25 million viewers. That's INSANE.

In a weird way, I'm not even sure if SHIELD has a clear POV on liberty and authoritariansim. It's people making declarative, black and white statements without any hint of nuance, yet any chance for the show to establish, I don't want to say a message, but a POV on authoritarianism seems muddled.

This show is already busting at the seams with regulars they don't know what to do with and its obsession with guest starts that take up large portions of the episode's time. Even after this episode, which I liked, I'm not really sure if the show has room for Pally.
