Fet is my favorite character, but as a NYer I did NOT appreciate his bombing the subway plan. Most New Yorkers don't have cars, and many of us don't even know how to drive. How do you expect us to get OUT of Manhattan, Fet, once you destroy the tunnels? Wait 6 hours for a bus?

SO agree. That Luchador movie homage and the nunnery flashbacks were great and IMO lifted an average episode to B or B+ levels.

Exactly. Hundreds, if not thousands of people are dying every day and turning into vamps. EVERYBODY knows what's going on, yet the Army hasn't taken over and restaurants are still open after dark? And there is literally NO WAY a group of rich bankers would still be in the city after dark, regardless of what Palmer

My favorite was Julia reminiscing about her dead doctor husband, then rhapsodizing about her true wuv Barbie…who MURDERED her husband three weeks ago! Memories are short under the dome…

The whole idea that A) all you need are strong emotions to escape alien mind control, and B) only the main cast have strong emotions is just insultingly stupid. I realize that CM has always been a community of lemmings who blindly followed Big JIm/Barbie/Julia, formed underground Dome Fight Clubs, never questioned

"Maybe its me, but it seems pretty stupid to destroy a planet you plan on
colonizing, with the survivors stuck inside a dome with limited
resources…"

I don't dislike Poehler, but…the problem is that his character is so insufferable at times (bordering on stupid) that it's hard to see why the smart and gorgeous Emma would put up with him. Not saying she could do better but…she really could.

Yeah, Staten Island (home of the late, murdered Eric Garner) is so rabidly right-wing that I felt guilty rooting for Councilwoman Feraldo, but damn—she's the only government official in the whole show who seems to have a clue!

I know EVERYTHING about the NYC scenes is ridiculous, but the bus scene…I live in NYC, and during Hurricane Sandy three years ago (when the power in downtown Manhattan was out for a week) the city buses wouldn't take us downtown after dark, because the traffic lights were out.

Seriously. His single expression (unadulterated evil) looks like he thinks he's playing Damien in "The Omen." And the worst part is that the writers think we're empathizing with the kid's "pain." Die Zach, die!

Do you mean "I Am Jazz" on TLC? (Docuseries about a transgender teen who's been living as a girl since kindergarten.)

Did ANYTHING from the first two seasons (aka Weeks 1 and 2 UTD) matter to the current storyline? Julia being the Monarch? Norrie and Joe and Junior being special to the egg/dome, with psychic powers? The egg first trying to kill everyone in the dome with various plagues and now keeping them alive to do its bidding?

…Which reminds me — at the end, when people in WP V3.0 were strung up on poles, why are "Do Not Try to Leave" signs all around? The FG all know about the Abbies, so why would they try to leave? Where would they go?

Yeah, but after Group A imploded (because only those wise teens can handle the truth, you know), why not just set up a new town with the volunteers? I feel like I spent the whole series trying to figure out why Pilcher spent so much time and effort setting up a Sims village and terrorizing people into submission,

Exactly. There seemed to be no more than 30 or 40 teens in the FG mob scenes, some as young as 13 or 14. Even assuming they stayed in the bunker till the Abbies migrated, the idea that these children could overthrow the adults, then run all the electronics and advanced tech, provide food and water, and take over the

100% agree. Nurse Pam was so mustache-twirling EVIL in the first half of the season that it seemed like an act when she suddenly became "human" in the second half. It's not as if the events we saw happened over months or years. The whole series was, what? A week or two?

Yes, Zach is THE WORST. The surly expression on his face as he demanded to know what Eph was doing was like something out of The Bad Seed. And the weird thing is, there's no reason for the character to be there! Kelly made it clear in S1 that she had relatives in Vermont that she was thinking of shipping him off

Mattepntr, LOL! SO budget. Obviously NYC would be under martial law by now, with the army sweeping all the houses for vamps. I was in Manhattan on 9/11, and the government closed all the bridges and tunnels ASAP (trapping us all in the city, but whatevs).

** Gnashing teeth bitterly **

Sorry, still not buying it. Why would blind kids (or ANY kids) be in school in the middle of a vampire apocalypse when people are dying by the thousands? Do parents of blind children care less about their kids' safety than other parents?
