True…on the other hand, gorgeous Eva is a HUGE upgrade for Barbie over strident, self-righteous, "why-didn't-you-mourn-me-4-evah-after knowing-me-for-three-weeks" Julia.

Yeah, it's not a good sign when I found myself zoning out of the show and wondering "who would I rather see eaten by vampires: Carl from TWD, Sydney from Parenthood or Zach?"
Self-Aware Eph ("I suck at vampire hunting") was definitely a highlight — as was the super-gross opening sequence. Other than that…I just can't get behind this ridiculous version of NYC during a vampire apocalypse, where real estate agents are still cheerfully selling properties, offices are open, and blind kids (led…
JMO, but I think TH **on this show** was terrible — a bunch of random acting tics in search of a character. He seemed continuously on the verge of either shooting someone or bursting into tears. It wasn't all his fault — a love of ice cream does not a well-rounded character make.
Don't backtrack yet — the whole thing still seems shady. If buying this water was on the up and up, why did Selleck settle out of court? And why didn't Burns Pacific (I'm envisioning their ancient owner saying "Exxx-cellent" a lot) speak up when this all started? They still haven't commented!
Sailgood, I would agree about Ben quickly blaming his dad, except that:
Yeah, I don't think evolution means what the writers of WP think it means. Unless Abbies burst from their (presumably human) mothers as full-grown adults — or grow to adulthood almost instantly, like in "Alien" — there's no way that homo sapiens would let things get to this point. And the same mutation wouldn't happen…
Theresa, who roots around Plot 33 in broad daylight and then tells her evil boss about it, is an idiot. Her son is not much better in the brains dept., and Matt Dillon so far has had one facial expression (cranky). And the less said about Terrence Howard's acting abilities, the better.
"That makes a lot more sense that keeping all of the adults in the dark while the hormonal teenagers are given all the info & are now being pushed into procreation."
"Why if you have 200+ loyal volunteers are you even bothering dicking
around with unthawing a huge number of other people you have to babysit and prevent from going apeshit."
I will say that Adalind's bitchy late mother Catherine would have made a PERFECT Endora. ( :
But unfortunately, in a good number of those cases the initial crime is reported, then Nick, Hank or Trubel either kill, decapitate or magically explode the Wesen perpetrator and hide the body/evidence. So the crimes are officially "unsolved."
If the "media doesn't notice an obvious uptick in bizarre crime" plot bothers you I would recommend that you NOT watch The Strain on FX (among other reasons).
I see your point, but…it's funny that when Trubel beheads someone with a machete we all cheer, but if Nick uses a Vambrace in a fight with someone who killed his mother it's "sneaky." I guess I'm all for Nick embracing his inner ruthless Grimm in Season 5 and becoming more defiantly kick-ass.
So next season: Nick, Trubel and Adalind all living together in Nick's house? A blond, a brunette and Nick, so…Three's Company 2015?
You know, I think that if we can accept that Dark Juliette is evil because of her new Hexenbiest genes, then Nick has to get a pass for temporarily losing his shit and strangling her. After all, we've seen that a certain brutality is inherent (and probably genetic) in the Grimm personality — just as it is with…
Your Baltimore Sun letter was AWESOME (and I cannot WAIT for Hannibal's new season next month). Now you have to write a similarly outraged letter to the Portland Tribune…( :
So hired hitmen/women are absolved of all blame? I think you need to sit down and watch some reruns of Law & Order…
You know, given what we've seen of real-life police behavior over the past year, it does make me a little uneasy that Portland PD has such unquestioned authority in Grimm world. Renard, Nick and the gang commit murder whenever they deem it necessary, then falsify evidence and cover up their crimes. I mean, I don't…
Return of the Ghost Seekers! They've probably been secretly monitoring Nick ever since that episode….
