"it’s gratifying to see Lee, who talks of being reviled after the series, embraced by the audience." — the recap

SilentSpy is 100% right. If an entire TV show cast and crew had been violently murdered during shooting, there would be nonstop news coverage of the aftermath, the many funerals and the subsequent FBI investigation. There is NO WAY the many relatives of the dead people would allow a network to air the graphic footage

I didn't even think BvS was "awful." I just found it frustrating, because there were good ideas in it (the opening, with the flashback to the Kal-El vs Zod battle from the perspective of the Metropolis citizens below, was legitimately terrifying) but Snyder never carried them through. Plus Jesse Eisenberg was the

Well, if Barry can time travel to a specific point that easily, why not go back to when Zoom first showed up (as Jay) and kill him then?

"Wayward Pines was a surprise hit for Fox last summer, the series’ thrilling mix of Twilight Zone-esque mystery and sci-fi action garnering both popular and critical acclaim."

Agreed, except for the bar footage of Zombie Nick…Renard could never bring that up without explaining why he continued to employ an out-of-control detective who assaulted dozens of innocent bystanders. In fact, Renard has covered up so many of Nick & Hank's Grimm deeds over the years, he'd be arrested along with them

Good point. Catherine was a Hexenb*tch, but Henrietta (RIP) seemed pretty chill, and Renard's mom seemed to care deeply for her half-blood son. Given Renard's flexible ethics, it's probably a good thing he doesn't have Bonaparte's abilities.

I see your point, but it all depends on whether Wesen are assumed to be different species within the same genus (lions and tigers are different species, for instance, but can interbreed to create Ligers) or as different from each other as humans and animals.

Yeah, Gawker et al would have a field day with this story. Although I seem to recall that Renard introduced Adalind on TV as "the woman I love" instead of "my wife." Still a weird thing to drop on voters, though.

Yeah, it really does seem like Portland has a FAR higher percentage of Wesen than most US cities — which would explain its continuing importance to Black Claw, the Royals and the Wesen Revolution.

"I just felt like the one thing the action scenes needed tonight was more beheadings."

Thanks for doing the research. : )

But how do we know which Wesen parentage is the "dominant" one? Do we assume that Blutbads are stronger, thus a Blutbad/Eisbiber mix would automatically be Blutbaden?

Heh..as I've said earlier, I never had a problem with Juliette (although I preferred Eve), knew David and Bitsie were dating, and even *I* can see that Nick has TONS more chemistry with Adalind. Lets hope the writers can see that, too. #NadalindForever

I have to say, Adalind so far has been a MUCH better mother than her own mom, Catherine (who, let's not forget, was Renard's ex-lover). Catherine treated Adalind like crap and never let her forget how much she "disappointed" her.

Also, I'm sure Diana could destroy the ring with a snap of her fingers.

Great story, but IRL there's no way this mass carnage would go away on the Mayor-Elect's say-so. The FBI would have to step in, the President would address it, Congress would meet to discuss the new terrorist threat…CNN/MSNBC would be in Portland for weeks!

But think how Nick's mass killing will burnish the legend of Grimms moving forward! Portland's Wesen community was originally both shocked and terrified at meeting Nick, but now many of them seem to have heard of the Grimm Who Lives Among Us.

Totally agree. WAAAAY back in the 20th Century, on an old 60's TV show named "Bewitched," the child witch Tabitha had a similar learning process with her magic. (And now I feel super old for remembering that.)

I think we're ALL curious about their Fuchsbad (Blutbau?) offspring. Maybe I'm mis-remembering, but wasn't there an ep where Wesen "race-mixing" resulted in monsters? Or with horrendous consequences?
