Agree that there's no coming back for Nick and Juliette (Is there a 'ship name? Nuliette?) after this. She left him, slept with his boss, and destroyed his family's irreplaceable heritage.

As horrible as Dark Juliette is now (and burning the trailer is EVIL), what Nick and Monrosalee are planning kinda disturbs me. Juliette has said to anyone who'll listen that she LOVES her Hexenbiest powers and her new 'tude in general. Isn't forcing her to take a permanent Wesen Quaalude denying her agency over her…
SO agree. That's why I still miss Lexi…* sigh *
Well, Sean is treated poorly by the family because he was the product of the King's affair with a Hexenbiest, and the Queen wasn't taking his adultery lightly. Of course, that was 40 years ago so you'd think everyone would have gotten over the scandal by now, but whatever.
Totally agree about how great this episode was. I LOVE when we get backstory on daily Wesen life, and thought the camp storyline was perfectly done. I had always wondered what Wesen parents tell their kids about their dual natures, and it was interesting that the boys weren't fazed at all when their dads woged…
But then why would they have taken the time to show us Nick's Zombie side re-emerging when he got his powers back? We still see his super-hearing from time to time. Lady E is right — this new baby is going to have a witches' brew of crazy inherited powers…
Speaking of which, did anyone notice that Kenneth referred to Diana as Adalind and Sean's child? I thought the Royals believed the child was Eric's (a full Royal) and not Sean's (a half-Royal). If the child is only one-quarter Royal, why do they care so much?
Losing Aunt Marie's trailer was like losing a beloved character. Whatever Grey's Anatomy fans felt about the loss of McSteamy or McDreamy or whoever, I felt when that Airstream went up in smoke. CENTURIES of accumulated lore, potions, weapons, Super Soakers…** sob **
Happy…Town? ** Runs to IMDb to check it out **
I believe Steven said Garnet "is" a relationship, which I just loved. It also feels like Garnet's personality has really changed since Ruby and Sapphire de-fused and then fused again. She seems more engaged with humans and more openly affectionate and funny with Steven, IMO.
Sara, agree that Bonnie is FINALLY getting her groove back and becoming a kickass character (and not just the instant magical answer to every vampire problem). I really thought Damon had grown to respect her, so it was a little disappointing to find out he still thought of her that way (although her "bitch please—you…
100% agree about the Council. Since then, every time a human shows up who wants to protect other humans from murderous vampires (as in the Colin Ferguson/Tripp Cooke arc last year), they're portrayed as Big Bads who we should root against.
Okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Enzo's big revelation (that Lily didn't abandon him, she and her "family" were sent to PrisonWorld) is done. What's his big storyline now, that he's best buds with Stefan's mom?
Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought the Sire Bond was a big deal on this show? Wasn't that part of the whole Delena drama — that Damon wasn't sure if Elena really loved him or that her feelings were due to the Sire Bond between them? And the Sire Bond was also a huge factor between Klaus and his hybrids.
Agree on the self-hating part, since he still seems to see Juliette's transformation as a horrible curse to be erased rather than a life he shares and is presumably fine with.
That was a great episode. The Gravity Falls writers really know how to play out a long-form sci-fi mythology story while doing comedy-procedural episodes. Maybe the Grimm writers could take notes…
Heh…given that Juliette leaving Nick is probably being gossiped about at Wesen lodges I'm surprised that the Eisbibers haven't shown up at Nick's door with quilts, pies and other consolation gifts.
Exactly. Portland's murder rate of 3.3 per 100,000 residents (in 2012) was lower than the U.S. average of about 5 per 100,000 residents. However, Portland's overall violent crime rate is about 30% higher than the U.S. average, so it's no surprise Nick and Hank are so busy…
Statistically that's not necessarily true. If Wesen made up 10% of the world's population they could still commit the majority of crimes. It would just be a smaller group — that has historically found it hard to assimilate into the human whole — with a very high internal crime rate.
Which is exactly why I wanted Hank to keep pursuing a relationship with Zuri the Yaguaraté. Yes, she told him she wasn't interested in dating a human, but they had chemistry and I thought it would have been great for his character. It was so sad when a) he was Nick's date at Monrosalee's dinner party and b) he was…
