Now that you put it that way, it *is* true that Nick was presented with the choice of a happy mortal life with Juliette, or an insane life as a Grimm with her in constant danger — and he chose being a Grimm.

Oh…but weren't those necessary to let us know that months had elapsed since the detoxining treatment?
**Lou Grant voice**
I *hate* spunk!
"their middle-aged spinster daughter (played by Christina Ricci)"
I *always* have the closed captioning enabled, so…what subtitles are you guys referring to?
I think it's meant to be the newly-formed Hexenbiest equivalent to pregnancy hormones ramping up the emotions (which friends who are moms have told me is a Real Thing, so there you go).
Even if the house *is* Juilette's (and not mutually owned) she can hardly ask Nick to move out just because he turned away from her gross decayed Hexen-lips. Plus it makes sense that she'd feel more comfortable now with her own kind (especially when "her kind" has a chest like Sean's).
New city slogan: Keep Portland Ugly!
I think I missed something (was eating dinner during the show and kept turning away when they showed the mutilated faces). Are sexy tree frog Wesens somehow only female? Are there no male STFW's to mate with?
My inner comic book nerd is still hoping that the climax of this season will be a no-holds-barred battle between Dark Juliette and Super Zombie Nick…
In fairness to Les (and BTW — great recap, Les!) I thought I would miss Trubel more than I have since she left. I mean, I love her character, and kinda squealed like a little girl when I saw that e-mail, but there are SO MANY characters and plots in this show already that were tossed aside when she became so popular.
Other than once again defending Nick (it was an innate Grimm reflex, he JUST found out, and has tried to apologize 1,000 times) I agree. I mean, everything Dark Juliette said to Nick and Sean is true — she was an ordinary full-time vet in a stable relationship with a hot detective, and now she's been cursed by…
Maybe Prince Kenneth just has the power of Kickassery. He gets Royal shit done! I know I was loving that whole Royal smackdown scene, and I'm usually a Sean fan.
Heh. So true. Grimms do seem to be the (literally) strong, silent types. By comparison, Nick is an emotional gusher.
This is a very good point. I had been assuming that Diana was so powerful and valuable because of the gypsy spells involved when pregnant Adalind got her powers back. But maybe she's valuable because Royal blood really *does* have powers of some sort, and the Hexenbiest/Royal mix produces mega-powered progeny.
B3, thank you so much! Loved the Rosalee/Juliette bonding one and the one where Bud met Monrosalee. I don't know how I missed hearing about these…but a lot of the older videos on the NBC Grimm YouTube page are marked as "private," for some reason, so I'm hoping people saved them and will repost them. Thanks again…
The ONE good thing about Kinja — and it's the only good thing — is that it gives you lots of editing choices, like inserting bolding and hyperlinks, right in the comment box. Otherwise it sucks, and following comment threads is a nightmare.
"the stuff about another related Grimm having to bite the dust…"
"Tonight, on a Very Special Episode of Grimm…"
I'm a little nervous about the end of Juliard's last scene, though. Now that Juliette has Adalind's Book of Shadows open, she said she was going to read every spell — presumably to find a cure for herself. Does that mean the writers are planning to end Juliexenbiest just when it's getting good? I want her—as…
