I can think of a couple non-network programs (like Claire on Six Feet Under) but yeah, no network shows since Maude (which was 40 years ago!). I can't believe the networks are still this terrified of the right-wing reaction — although portraying grisly murders and serial killers on Criminal Minds and the like are

Can you enlighten me about these? I searched through YouTube and the Grimm NBC site and couldn't find any mini-episodes. Would love to see a Fuchsbau's Night Out with Rosalee and her buds…

I'm pretty sure James Frain was written off Grimm so he could star in the 2014 BBC America show "Intruders." Which I read recently was just cancelled. So maybe Eric will live after all?

I don't know how to do a hyperlink in the comments, but I checked, and you were right! Supernatural was the #1 example in TV Tropes' palm-cutting listing, and deservedly so. To quote them, "Because there certainly aren't any sensitive muscles or tendons there….and you rarely use your hand anyway, right?"

I don't think most viewers were looking at his head…( :

Holy crap! What was she doing back in 2008 to get a soft-core Maxim shoot? (Which she looks both great in, and exactly the same as she looks now, at 38, with a kid. Fuchsbau beauty secrets…)

At this point, "Shirtless Renard" needs "special guest star" billing. Twitter always blows up after its appearance (I'm surprised there's no Twitter account for his pecs, yet).

…which I can accept from Hexenbiests, who maybe can heal instantly, but MissLucas is right — it's an (incredibly painful-looking) trope. I'm looking at you, "Supernatural"…

But that's the point. We still don't know (and may never know) if this powerlessness is true of ALL Zauberbiests or just Sean (because he's a half-breed). The writers obviously monitor viewers' comments, because they're always throwing in meta lines like Renard's last night. I just want them to go a little farther

As a kid, I could never understand how he kept his (purple) pants on after hulking out. (I guess I *still* don't.)

The only problem I have with Juliard (yeah, it's official) is that Juliette's loathing of her new status has GOT to be offensive to Renard. I mean, she's saying that being a Hexenbiest is the worst thing that could happen to her — to a half-Hexenbiest! (Okay, a Zauberbiest.)

I don't think he *could* kick her out, given how powerful she is.

THANK YOU for remembering that Adalind originally only had Diana so she could sell her to get her powers back. I get so frustrated when people sympathize with her "I just want my baby back" spiel. She's a horribly selfish Hexenbiest, not an empathetic mom!

I agree that the writers don't have to work so hard inventing new Wesen all the time. I'm always excited when Bud returns, because they've spent time fleshing out the Eisbiber world (love their Lodge), and IMO this show needs more world-building episodes.

Exactly. Most of Nick's cases defy the traditional justice system. We don't even know for sure that Stacy is gone forever (she probably will return when the testosterone works its way out of its system). Then what does the Portland PD do? Keep secretly injecting Linus/Stacy forever, or allow them to easily escape

"The next-generation spin-off…"

"Renard would be fairly crazy to let Juliette live with him…"

Totally agree on Renard's loyalty to Nick, who he considers "his" Grimm. I was a little surprised that he didn't tell him about Juliexenbiest, but maybe inter-species loyalty supercedes Royal/Grimm bonding.

So true. In my perfect world, DC finds a place for Matt Ryan/Constantine in its upcoming slate of Justice League movies. A fan can hope…

Thanks so much! Really enjoyed that interview (and the sweet Monrosalee photo). However, when Turner said this ep would have "a lot of very sweet discussion between the two of them that answers a lot of questions that I know the fans have," it makes me wonder what the editors cut out.
