I know the AV Club hates Fallon and is Team Coco 'till death, but is it really that hard to understand? His Lip Sync battle with Emma Stone has 41 million views on YouTube. His battle with Joseph Gordon Levitt has 37 million views, and his battle with Paul Rudd has 21 million views. It's not exactly a huge ratings

I wanted to reach through the TV and smack Kristina during that scene.
If she felt that "outraged" about Jasmine's visit she could have called
her right afterward and discussed it like an adult. Instead she
passive-aggressively stews about it until she can make a huge scene and
attack Jasmine in public. Kristina

"Hey, buddy…if you want to be a serial killer your Mom and I just want you to be the best serial killer you can be."

I couldn't agree more. Craig T. Nelson is such an underrated actor. This season has really been all about him (as S4 was about Kristina) and he has killed every scene he's in. His scenes with Drew, in particular, have been heartfelt and amazing. And I did a full on ugly cry looking at his face when he held Baby

Thanks! And some of us love both Grimm *and* Constantine…to me it's the perfect Friday night viewing block.

I feel like Nick *doesn't* do that stuff very often, though. When Trubel was introduced, SHE got to do the hard-line Grimm stuff, right down to chopping off heads with her trusty machete. I don't want Nick just to be a cop — he should be the OG Grimm!

Kumagoro, hear, hear! You need to send this whole post to the Grimm writers, in case they feel the pressure from the "You Must Kill Lead Characters To Be Taken Seriously" folks.

Heh…the thing is, though, watching "cuddly" Wesen like Bud and Rosalee woge is no preparation for seeing Hexenbiests and other scary types. I remember Juliette almost screaming when she saw Monroe woge for the first time…

LOL…it would be interesting to see if this (justified) massacre leads to Monroe being tempted to go back to his old pre-vegan, non-pacifist Blutbad ways…IMO he seemed a little happy to become a "big bad wolf" again.

For some reason, you just reminded me of something else I wondered while watching the ep: what is up with Portland's media? An all-out police battle happens in an area park with numerous shot and chewed-up casualties and Renard's shady press conference is just accepted by the press? Given the HUGE number of bizarre

Coming in Fall 2015…NBC's newest sitcom hit: "New Hexenbiest!" (Two Broke Hexenbiests? Modern Hexenbiest?)

So…Grimm doesn't merit its own recap page, but "Glee" does? ** head explodes **

Haven't watched this show in years, so I'm not sure why I read this recap, but…

But — and I said this downthread as well — Nick asked Monrosalie if they were okay with telling Wu and they asked him not to. I respect Nick realizing that telling Kehrseites about Wesen is a really big deal, and something that in the past has resulted in their persecution. Not to mention that the Wesen Council

Good point! They took such pains to show their palms magically bloodying, but no consequences when Faust broke the pact…

** sticks fingers in ears ** Sorry, can't hear you! La la la, can't wait until Constantine's second season…

Agreed on how good this episode was, and how great it was to get Chas' backstory. I thought Charles Halford was terrific — totally raw and on-edge during most of the ep, but so unguarded and loving with his daughter. It answered a lot of questions I had about his life, his powers and why he quests with John instead

I wonder if the Merlin spell was a one-time thing (i.e., just for the lives lost in the nightclub fire) or an ongoing enchantment. if the latter, Chas would have picked up a life from Faust.

I wish the show would release that shot as Mac wallpaper — I'd definitely use it.

Nick has used his super hearing several times before, although the show has been subtle in depicting it. Honestly, I really enjoyed this episode, but if I had any complaint it was that Nick hardly got to do any active Grimm stuff at all. Every Wesen character — including Juliebiest — got to use their woged abilties,
