Heh, she's definitely giving McKayla Maroney some competition in the Olympic bitchface event…

Not even trying to front here — Frederic Bilodeau's unfettered enthusiasm during his brother's run, followed by the pure joy on his face when he won, reduced me to happy tears. I hardly think Alex's love for his older brother, and dedication to him of his gold medal, is in any way feigned. I loved their story,

*Is* she okay? I literally gasped at that fall, and couldn't believe the people who examined her allowed her to finish out her run. I hope her doctors are keeping a close eye on her over the next few days for signs of delayed concussion.

Fuck: Richie (although I gave the TV serious Ashley Wagner-face when he ended up with Pat. Ugh.)

Josh, the fact that you would actually venture through the casually vicious threads in TV Club — when you have a personal stake in the comments — is amazing to me. You have a stronger stomach than I do, sir. Heh.

Not to belabor this point, but even the most minor things about the Royals are unclear. For instance, we found out in season 2 that Renard's royal blood was magical enough to undo the Hexenbiest spell on Juliette. So, are the Royals magical, human, or Wesen? Why isn't there more information on them in Nick's

IMO the problem with Vienna is that we *still* know so little about the Royals that it feels meaningless. I think they need to abandon the MOTW for one episode spent entirely in Vienna (with Nick and/or Kelly), where we finally get a sense of why the Royals matter in the larger world.

Excellent point, and that went right over my head last night. BUT — since Stefania Popescu has been doing all her gypsy magicks on Adalind to get her powers back, is it possible that *that's* why the baby is a Hexenbiest? Because it has Frau Pech's spirit?

…or was he hired by the Royals to take out that pesky Grimm in Portland?

Creepy Hexenbiest baby pushing out of Adalind's belly is creepy.

100% agree with @Biochemist — thought this episode did a really good job of exploring species-ism among some Wesen. There's no reason why Monroe's parents and Rosalee's mom would have the same reaction to their pairing: Wesen are just as likely to have individual views as humans. Also, despite Monrosalee's earlier

LOL! Oh, Rob…

AMEN! I loved the over-the-top quality of this show from the very beginning, and thought it was one of the sexiest, goriest, most enjoyable shows on broadcast TV. The cinematography was often brilliant, the cast was surprisingly diverse, and Lady Jayne was a slayer that nearly rivaled Buffy. (She definitely had a

First of all, Lucy is undead, and I'm not sure if the ridiculously sexy Lady Jayne was bi or not. Yes, Lord Davenport's queer son Daniel killed himself, but that made sense to me given the repercussions of being outed in 19th century London.

Reaches out adorably for Adam

Interesting how mileage varies with this show. I saw Julia's barging into Peet and Joel's office as a devaluation of Joel's efforts to finally support his family financially. I don't think Joel would EVER have gone to Julia's law office to discuss a problem he was having with Sydney. I've always liked Julia (and

Good point re: Crosby. It's funny how (for me) he's gone from Annoying Slacker Braverman to the most reliably amusing member of the cast. At this point I enjoy his interactions with pretty much everyone, especially when he's dispensing Crosby-style words of wisdom to people like Drew.

TV Club needs to start a 12-Steps Thread for guilty pleasures.

THANK YOU! That drives me crazy too, like there's only one way to grieve a loved one. However, they have to show those comments so that there's a SHOCKING THIRD-ACT TWIST where the widow(er) is exonerated in the last fifteen minutes. Not hating on Dateline — I love those twisty cases.

Totally agree — that was a great scene. I admit, I was afraid that Zeek was about to ask her if she wanted a trial separation (and that she would say yes). Camille has seemed completely OVER IT since she came back. But yeah, that was the best part of Zeek coming out, and he probably would never have said it if she
