"I hope you learn"…"grow up"…you might not realize it, but your tone is condescending. You might think that makes people take you more seriously, but it actually has the opposite effect.

"Even under this most perversely flattering of readings, Zmuda is still a raging asshole because he’s completely ruining Kaufman’s surprise. If Kaufman had kept his “promise” to Zmuda and returned 30 years after faking his death, it’d be much less of a story. In this alternate universe, Kaufman wouldn’t be pulling the…
Other potential guest stars from the era of music between the 80s and grunge:
* Gloria Estefan
* The don't-worry-be-happy guy
* Hammerman (the cartoon version of MC Hammer)
* Just Vanilli (don't ask, it's depressing)
* Color Me Badd
See, why do you have to take such a personal tone about it? Yes, I know the difference between those things, and you don't HAVE to be a dick to strangers on the internet.
I can't wait to get out of Africa.
And what I'm telling you is that smart people — guilty or not — don't talk to cops in that circumstance. You can't use the fact that they didn't want to talk to cops against them, because that's the right move for anyone in their position. Yeah, you don't want to obstruct, and if you have actual valuable information…
Talking to the cops would've been the stupidest thing they could have done. Even when you don't have reason to believe they think you're a suspect, you shouldn't talk to the cops; in this case, the cops were telling the press that they were suspects.
Like with bluechip, I think you're raising some valid questions, but you're leaping to a conclusion that isn't necessarily supported by the evidence. JonBenet had DNA on her from someone not in that house…any explanation you come up with has to account for that.
I think the questions you're asking are valid, but the conclusion you come to is neither the only possibility, nor is it supported by the evidence.
Honestly? I think they're innocent. If the ransom note indicates that the killer knew about the bonus money, well, that just means the killer knew about the bonus money — perhaps through gossip, or from having access to payroll, or bank statements, who knows. It could just be a blind alley. But, a lot of cops were…
Ah, you've discovered my general ignorance of anything that happened in comics past the early 00's :(
I was kind of sad that he got retconned into the team's chef in the reboot. And Bouncing Boy became an architect or something?
I actually think all the Captain Marvels have been pretty interesting. Mar-Vell was good early Starlin stuff, Monica Rambeau was one of my favorite Avengers (and the behind-the-scenes story of how she got shafted as Avengers leader is interesting), Genis-Vell had that great Peter David series, and although I've not…
Not only is Frank put in a dog crate — my favorite detail is that he's not allowed out until he eats the ingredients of a cake, which he of course does, and we next see him covered in flour…
That must have been like the Michael Jordon of casting directors. "Oh, you want Bette Midler, but a kid? Yeah I can make that happen"
"Just how big a fan of Beaches am I supposed to be?"
"Well, you have the watch, so…"
I assume you're being facetious about bankrobbers' motives — obviously they care a lot less about how evil banks are, and a lot more about the quick accumulation of vast wealth. I think you're really pointing that last sentence at people who root for bankrobbers in movies, right?
whoa
is…is that some kind of sex thing? I'm going to hurl
Looks like that's 2002 Chelsea Peretti down at the bottom of the main page
