Thanks! I had a feeling eggs weren't involved.

So it must be Immigration Commission Eggs after all… makes sense, thanks!

I miss the list of shows I follow. TV Club does a lot of episode reviews, but I don't watch that much TV (yet… thankfully). So I miss being able to see a list of just the episodes I watch.

Is this episode really called "Ice, Ice baby"? I thought it was "The Next Month" or something like that. If it is "Ice, Ice baby", does anyone know why? Is ICE an acronym for something? Immigration Commission Eggs? I don't know, I'm bad at making up phony acronyms.

I think she was breathy before she started getting queasy, so I think she's playing that as the character's normal voice. I find it slightly annoying and distracting, but I figure it's just an indicator of how annoying we're supposed to find the character.

Yeah, did the kid not speak and then just suddenly, unremarkably start speaking? I thought the mom said she didn't talk, and then was surprised a few scenes later when she seemed to just be shooting the breeze with her mom. I figured it was my mistake and I misheard.

Ballsy is one word for it. Creepy would be another.

Agree… I didn't love this episode, but if it felt like it got us to the point where the guv is sitting outside the prison, I'd be interested in how the story is going to continue next week. As is, I'm wondering if we've got another 1 or more episodes of Governor only until he navigates himself over to the prison. I

The writers didn't let Adam throw Kristina a bone though. Which I'm kind of grateful for: Adam's eyebrow wagging is more amusing when it leads to nothing in my opinion.

huh. I watch Criminal Minds too and can't figure out why. I thought I escaped last year when I just deleted the 4-5 episodes I had lingering on my DVR. But then I caught up over the summer, and now I watch it each week. Not sure why I keep watching it… especially when it's compared against The Good Wife.

Agreed. It's always the first thing I watch on my DVR if I have one.

The kids have grown on me since the first few seasons where I would have agreed with you 100%. I don't know why.. if I think about their recent plot lines they sound just as awful as those early ones, but for some reason they don't bother me as much as they used to.

Ah yes, the way, way back. Our station wagon had one of those too. My parents let us lay down in there on long trips in the 80s, but no crawling.

She's totally earned "hard" though, because robots are made of metal, and they're strong.

don't forget the bottle of hand lotion.

Liked because I hope you're right. Julia and Joel are a good couple, but I don't care as much from the plot perspective as I just don't want to watch that cliche again. I'm sure if any show can make it interesting, it's Parenthood, but still.

They don't use the "the" for freeways either (take 101 to Redwood city) unlike in So Cal (where it would be "take the 101 to Redwood city).

It was weird because a robot would be way too heavy to carry around on your back.

You can almost put any word at the end and it kinda works. I thought it was ready too (or really, maybe).

Agree that their early stuff is great, but I also really liked the whole Laid album. Laid is fun and silly, but the rest of the album was great and some songs were particularly lovely.
