Can we really define "Losing My Edge" as "one of the defining pop songs of the last decade"?  It's a good song for sure, but kind of only really "defined" Pitchfork readers…

I think Robert Kirkman on Talking Dead gave some bullshit explanation like they got brain damage from the car crash and so didn't turn…

Oh gosh, I am a sucker for a good Shakespeare reference. =)  That made me laugh.

I was just logging in to say the exact same thing about that ending scene.  The cutaways to the zombie was ridiculous and seriously hurt the flow of that scene. I think that in general the cinematography has been better recently (see the Shane/lone walker in the field scene from the other week), but this episode felt

This sounds like wishful thinking but oh how much do I want you to be right so that Michael Raymond James is back on my screen.  I am going to go watch Terriers on Netflix again now I think…

Oh you are right.  Too bad though, because thinking they messed that up was the only thing that amused me about that sketch…

I did not like the strip club sketch the first time they did it with girls and also did not like it when they did it with men.  But really: if you are going to use the same set for the strip club, maybe get rid of the "Girls Girls Girls" sign, which certainly does not apply for a male strip club.

Oh gosh, now I am going to think that every time I see her!  She really does!  (although no stars on her belly, so just one of the normal Sneeches)

Did this episode remind anyone else of the America's Next Top Model Go See challenges?  That is what it reminded me of…

I thought the sketches were refreshingly original (especially the reality chef show skit and the marijuana skit), the race relations component of some of the sketches give the program a little more depth (plus the before the credits sketch and ancestry sketch were both hilarious), and I really like the interaction

Nope, I agree.  This episode was one of my favorite of the season.  I thought that every character had hilarious moments and I'm a sucker for April cares moments and Ben/Leslie moments.  But, if you look through the recaps, most of the episodes still get A/A- grades and most of the comments are positive.  I think some

Here's my question: how were the cops able to arrest this guy and keep him in prison for 5 years if he is apparently impervious to basically everything?  I feel like the ogre should have been able to escape either before being carted off to prison or at least have escaped earlier….

Sports Night's main issue is that it was about 10 years ahead of its time.  It really feels much more like a modern sitcom.  I can see why people who had only seen it when it first came out didn't get it because it was unlike anything else on at that time.

For me it was a pair of shows discovered on Netflix - Terriers and Party Down.

Because I feel like this article calls for it, here is my list:
1. Parks & Recreation
2. Game of Thrones
3. Community
4. Louie
5. Walking Dead
6. Happy Endings
7. Futurama
8. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I debated putting on Louis CK because I love Louie, but I feel like his show is so honest that its almost weird to call him a "character".

1. Ben, Parks & Rec
2. Jane, Happy Endings
3. Tyrion, Game of Thrones
4. Troy and Abed, Community
5. Leslie, Parks & Rec
6. Ned Stark, Game of Thrones
7. Walter, Fringe
8. Robin, HIMYM
9. Dr. Zoidberg, Futurama
10. Dee, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia

It seemed like they were able to have radio contact with 2149 (like when Taylor told Hope Plaza to go ahead with the pilgrimage, or how Mira was able to get all of those messages back).  I think it is very likely that someone radioed the guy to let him know what was going on right before Hope Plaza went away.

Based on that last scene, I am just curious if anyone who works for the show has actually seen a meteor shower before.  Meteor showers do not look like lasers firing in a cheap 70's action film…
