Just think of it as Ted, as a junior member of the faculty, being roped into doing a survey course in the Liberal Arts School for non-Architecture majors. He certainly isn't on any tenure track, so he would have to take pretty much any class they offered him.

At my school Psych, Poli Sci, Sociology are all in Liberal Arts (along with Biology, History, English, and anything not "professional"). Architecture is part Engineering and part Design, and doesn't have any courses for students not in the school.

This show hasn't been about true "survival" for many seasons. Just think of the name as if it refers to surviving *socially*.

According to reality blurred, the next season of Survivor will be called "Survivor One World" and will be men vs women.  The twist will be that both tribes will live on the same beach.  I think that sounds awesome, as members of the two tribes will be able to conspire and scheme between them.  Also, it won't be a

That was a VR simulation though.

…while covered in blood and open sores. Romantic!

"Wait, attract?  We don't want to bring them here! We want them to go somewhere else!  We need some kind of repellant!"

I guess it is possible.  It did seem rather rushed.  She told Bridgette that she had just met the man, but I guess that could have been a lie (since Kate didn't know that Bridgette recruited her at the time).

The first time I saw her I thought she looked matronly.  maybe it was because of her affair with the man who looked much older than her, but i thought she was being set up as the mother hen of the group. But the more I saw her the more I realized that she was absolutely adorable. I am now officially smitten.

Especially one on a flagship jet.

The cigarette smoke thing really bothered me.  I wasn't flying back then, but I remember plane flights from the early 70s as smoke-filled. I was always annoyed that the "non-smoking section" was merely the back part of the plane, so the guy in the seat in front of you could be smoking up a storm while you were in the

Um, they showed her recruitment scene.  The man she met in the bistro while waiting for Bridgette recruited her.

Kansas State is a double abomination. Wearing purple as well as having a boring team name.  How many Wildcats (and Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!) do there need to be?

To be fair, most people think of Kansas when they think of Kansas City, even though KCMO is bigger than KCK. I live on the Kansas side, and often have to correct people who say they are coming to Kansas when they mean Kansas City, Missouri.

Fauxlivia did chastise herself for not removing the photos, so presumably they cleaned the house of different technology and other details. My thought was "How would staging the house so as not to reveal the aspects of the other universe affect the profile?"

I liked it until I realized that *SPOILER* the entire mystery puzzle was taken from The Princess Bride.  I was reasonably sure that Holmes would deduce that both vials were poison, and the killer was simply immune.

This article was similar to a Cracked piece from a couple of weeks ago.

If it had been me on that SWAT team, or in charge of it, I would have had a hair trigger too.  They had NO IDEA what kinds of powers they were up against.  Going in non-lethal against a group with unknown super-powers seems really risky to me.

The problem I had with the middle action sequence is that the team seemed to make no preparations concerning the alphas they were going up against. All it would take is one alpha with super-hearing, or spidey sense, or invisibility walking the perimeter and their surprise attack would have been blown (what, no

Clever! I laughed.
