Have you ever seen the original Hellraiser?  Robinson is pretty loathsome in that as well - he just does the type well I guess.

I think if you really want to show that you mean business though, the appropriate comment would have been "Taken is the worst idea that's ever been put to any form of media in the history of civilization,

Maybe tarnishing isn't the right word - but it certainly creates an air of ambiguity around someone who would otherwise have always been viewed as having the moral upper hand (ie. a Bajoran fighting against a Cardassian occupier).

@avclub-53e4db6f596904f154b5efa09193e3ab:disqus I'm going to pay close attention whenever she's on screen just to see if there's ever a subtle reference to that. There's no way someone in the writer's room wouldn't have noticed the resemblance.

I also thought "The Collaborator" was boring upon first watch, but seeing it again it grew on me. Bareil has a clear and interesting motivation that actually fits his character very well (he seems like the type who would love to be a quiet martyr) and tarnishing Kai Opaka was a good move. If they hadn't done so she'd

It's basically the same characterization she played in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - and equally as creepy and disturbing.

Yes!  One of the things I loved about Office Space was that with the exception of the lead and Jennifer Aniston, the people in that movie actually looked like people you might find working in a boring suburban office (read: average looking or even fairly unattractive). No one works in an office populated with movie

Horrible Bosses also gets some really good performances out of its actors even with somewhat lackluster material. That goes a long way in a comedy.

I was honestly surprised to see Descendants billed as a comedy at all - in fact I thought it worked much better as a drama.  There were a few funny moments but the story arc, while redemptive (I guess) doesn't really lend itself to many comedic moments.
