Most people in their teens and 20s haven't actually accomplished much of anything with their lives, so they tend to define themselves by their artistic tastes. Anyone who doesn't share those tastes is essentially rejecting their life choices and who they are as a person, so they can get particularly bent out of shape

I recognized Morgan's picture immediately even without seeing the text that it was from SG. Funny how that stuff sticks with you.

That scene of him walking through the parking lot was the first thing that popped into my head when I heard the words "Ramis" and "SCTV" together.

200 5th will sometimes show the Saturday night UFC fights on Fox if you ask. It's only a marginal step up in atmosphere from Buffalo Wild Wings, but at least it's not in the Atlantic Ave mall.

I think Gen Y is typically thought of as starting in 1980.  So more like the tail end of Gen X.

Steel jungle gyms have padding now?  Wow, maybe we were cooler than kids today. That's the lamest thing I've ever heard.

Maybe it will be a Uwe Boll adaptation of the "Knights of the Old Republic" video game, thus guaranteeing the end of the franchise?

@Nudeviking:disqus sadly, you missed out - Shudder to Think put on a hell of a show, I was fortunate enough to catch them a couple of times live. Craig Wedren had one of the most unusual voices in the scene, it made for some really interesting music that stood out at a time when there were a lot of Soundgarden-clones

I used to live in the UK - they're a discredit to the generally excellent music scenes I found there.  You guys can (and do!) do way better. I wish that music were exported rather than this.

I'm 34, so I'm guessing I should be in the appropriate target audience just about in time for the gritty reboot, 40.

Yeah I think that was actually the point Verhoeven was trying to make.
