Nope, you missed it…

Funny, I thought the point of LOL was to display a sense of humor. My bad, maybe next time I will try :( instead.

You are making assumptions based on your opinion about what he wrote. We don't have to agree on what he meant, but that does not mean his intent was malicious or ill conceived in either case. Vilification of "the other side" is common, and often misplaced, which was my original point.

You say tomato… Oh and when you reference government officials, in what is essentially a two part system, um yeah.

Wow, you are almost as witty as the other guys… Good job. LOL

LOL, oh please…

Did you read the article?

Again, what planet do you live on…

No, what he is suggesting is that we take a break from things like this and experience the world as it is around us. You reading in to his motives, simply because of where the article originated doesn't prove anything.

No actually it isn't. Telling people to be more insightful about the world around them is not "banal" or "trollish".

Hah! You think there is a difference between a republican and a democrat in Washington. That's cute…

Did you even read the article? Because:

Pure genius…

See that was funny :)

I seriously hope you are joking? "Very few people are obsessed with pop culture" Either you are purposefully being a troll, or a moron. Take your pick. LOL

Since everyone seems to be incapable of understanding the point of that Op Ed, please allow me to summarize:

Well apparently not LOL…

That is an excuse, something that lets people feel better about not addressing the cause of these types of problems.

Sorry for your loss, doesn't mean this type of behavior should be commemorated.

Yeah, um, no.
