So, if their bosses knew that Highlander had sold information to both sides already, why not tell the agents once they had the recovered human asset, and then simply bring Highlander back in?  Or why not have the hackers disable the television camera broadcasting? Or have another team down there to stop the cameras…

The best description I've heard for Coldplay is that they are "vexingly adequate" - I think that may be the feeling you have for them as well.
