@avclub-d72f705337e5adcf7e33ec0381c5f5b2:disqus  "There's one, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and

Looking at that cast list, this looks like the ultimate Dad Movie.  Yet, I don't think my dad likes it very much.

"The genre-blending sequel Riddick inspires five days of space westerns."

I'm not a musician and that drove me crazy too.

They're all pretty amazing.  I'm torn between Fucking Lost, Fucking Millenials, and Fucking The Killing.

"Thump!  Thump-thump! PING!
Thump!  Thump-thump! PING!"

"You may crush our bodies and our ponchos, but you'll never silence our song of protest!"

"Well I think they'd rather not acknowledge that this is from one of their tertiary spin-off companies."

Yeah, I'm trying to think of a fansite with a more unintentionally confusing name.

"Nothing in the near future from Disney or Pixar looks particularly unique…"

Things like this and the recent news that the director of the short "Paperman" left Disney always make me wonder how many times directors and show-runners were kicked off projects back in the day without us knowing?

The more I think about it, the more I'd give my eyeteeth for us having got "American Dog" from Disney instead of "Bolt".  Even if it was the disaster the studio heads were afraid it would be, it at least would have been a *fascinating* disaster.

(Morbo voice)EVOLUTION DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!(/Morbo voice)  Oh, where have you gone, Gary Larson?

(Ignores the Rick Santorum part.)  My dream dinosaur movie is now subtitled "No Mammal Characters In This One, We Promise". That caveman kid is giving me bad flashbacks of those insufferable monkeys in "Dinosaur".

Thank you for my daily reminder to feel weird and wrong for not hating "Tales From Earthsea" with the white-hot passion of a thousand stars.

Something something Dracorex hogwartsia.

For the last time, people, "Planes" wasn't made by PIXAR *or* Disney, it was by the studio that made all those shovelware sequels in the 90's-00's.  And I really "love" how Disney's shitty marketing department is leaving it to the fans to clarify this.

I was the ripe old age of fourteen in 1992.  It's fun trying to explain the "Simpsons" controversy mentioned above to my young cousins.

I've seen and heard a very old lady whisper-sing "My Heart Will Go On".  I've seen and heard a very drunk and belligerent guy muscling his way through an Eminem song he clearly did not know any of the lyrics to.  I've seen and heard (and lost a Kareoke contest to) a clueless prom queen stumble through "Baby Got Back,"
