"Christmas Shoes" is the worst (as Patton Oswalt famously pointed out, God comes off as pretty evil in it), but I once heard "Same Old Lang Syne" in the middle of July in an antique store.  Gave the radio a lot of weird looks as that tale went on and on and on…

I have the title track in my Christmas Party iTunes Playlist.  So far, nobody's noticed when it comes up. That either says something about Christmas music in general or my family.

Which brings to mind something subtle I like about "Fraggle Rock" (and other Muppet productions, come to mention it): They weren't afraid to have the kiddies in the audience feel feelings.

The weird implication there is that "Fraggle Rock" wasn't groundbreaking.

"My Little Pony", especially in its latest incarnation, is very good for a "girly" series mostly because it does not actively hate its own target audience.
