The book + the fact that she's Cult Leader Expert in Charge makes me think it's just a giant red herring. There's going to be an episode where it's obvious there's an FBI mole, all signs point to her, and then TWIST it was old black guy all along!

I'm a little floored by the love this kid received this episode. I mean, he did have some okay moments but he also willingly went back with Pixie Cut after she told him he could use the phone, and he seemed to believe Police Men are bad, something the people he just ran away from told him. The kid flip flops from dumb…
Of course the bodies will be found. Dexter explains to Ghost Dad about using their guns on each other in order to sell a story. It doesn't make much sense to dispose of the bodies after setting things up like that.

Felt like mid season filler, especially those Doakes flashbacks. They had no plot relevance and very little thematic resonance. Which makes it even sadder that they were probably the highlight of the episode.

Either this episode was really dumb or I missed something. Henry's entire plotline last episode was that he learned the control the dream. This week he uh, forgot? Why is the entire conflict of this episode hinging on something that was negated the week before? The kid shouldn't be getting his dumb ass burned, there…

I like that the ever judgmental Bonnie is the one to defend the creepy teacher that is attending a frat party. Take your stink eye and look at yourself sometime.

He's barely been on Sons. He was in the first couple episodes a decent amount but barely present (if at all) in the last chunk, and it ain't likely he's going to live through the season. Seems like a dumb choice to give up a main cast role on a show like Dexter for a role on Sons that's not going to last past the…

The whole council business is silly. Especially at last season, the whole Alaric outs everyone thing seemed empty. At that point the council just appeared to be an bumbling bunch of locals who were fine with dead bodies dropping in their small town every week. Now they're commandos out of nowhere, and even frigging…

Dear Dexter Writers:
I don't know if I would call what they did detective work. They busted that place for a week to get a lead of….an ex boyfriend. That Quinn knew about. Isn't that like the first guy you go to when you have a dead person, their current or ex romantic partners? Go talk to that guy the first day dummies!

The best part is that nobody, not even Emma, thinks to just get into a damn car. They slowly jog after the bloodthirsty mob.
