You'd be mistaken.

Obama wrote about Black Orpheus? I'm intrigued. Purchasing Black Orpheus when I was 17 at a Borders was and is the only time I ever netted a date via DVD purchase. Speaking of Orpheus, an article on Jose Saramago is overdue on AV Club.

Thank god you put this on after already doing "driver."

starts great. third act doesn't hold mustard. loved it as a kid, then watched recently and was disappointed.

He knew he won beforehand. End credits.

Hound was wounded and had bad luck to fall. Why would anyone assume Khal would be an easy victory, just the lack of armor? His skills seemed pretty on point. And yes, Bronn would die to everyone save maybe Jamie. No love for Tormund or Jon Snow?

The only one I see even giving Dayne a fight would be the Viper, due to his unorthodox weapon and style. Darth Maul with swords against sword seemed invincible 4 on 1, nevertheless mano a mano.

Thought it was still a great season despite the exceptionally harsh criticism of the reviews. The last half of this episode reminded me of Season 2/3 Breaking Bad? when Walter has to rush home to get his duffel bag of cash from the crawl space and it's not there: the absolute horror of a bad situation gone

Can't see the show getting better than Palestinian Chicken, but the chance for Larry to skew the Donald is appetizing.

The family is in free fall (ing apart). Marco is doing his best after being hampered by IA and truth-blocked by his superior?/colleague. If this were a regular cop show, Kevin, Meg, and John would have cracked up in the first interrogation and there would have been a double homicide/suicide in the Rayburn household. I

It was out of his jurisdiction, but there he was.

Edmure Tully, way to fuckin go Edmure it up. You truly are the Dennis Franz of Die Hard 2.

How the shit are they going to get to the battle by next episode with no scenes with Ramsay/Snow this week. Hope it's not all prelude, but I could handle it if they take a full two episodes. Looks epic enough for Spartacus and William Wallace.

Just as Kevin "came clean" about being high to diffuse any doubt over his crazy behavior around Marco, Meg jumped into bed with him to assuage his suspicions. I don't see why it's hard to believe he is truly angry with constantly being lied to; Meg cheating on him seems to be in his rearview.

By bingeing the 2nd season (like the 1st) in two days, I've felt that I shouldn't comment because I didn't want to give anything away or indulge foreshadowing/prognosticating on things in hindsight. This series is great, amazingly without Mendelsohn. I'm waiting for final two episodes to start chiming in, and please

no one wants to hear werner herzog?

norm macdonald thinks ramsay's really kind of a jerk

I'm all for slow burn storytelling, but com'on, not a shit happened the whole episode. Jon Snow still not Easter Sundaying?

pardon me, but Brother with Takeshi Kitano and Omar Epps is superb popcorn fodder. Movie has some incredibly badass scenes, but is a tab B-ish.

What's the rape code then?
