I've always wondered how Joffrey would have turned out if Robert had actually tried to be a father. You can see in the video that he was legitimately broken up about Robert dying.

The most powerful weapon in the universe is a Green Lantern's ring.

Duchovny was really, really bad at letting his boredom with the role show in his acting. Add that to Mulder being a deadpan snarker most of the time and you had the recipe for a wooden performance, especially in those later seasons. I think he just enjoyed being the guy who got to toss out sarcastic one liners near

When it comes to urban destruction, I wonder if the League helps with the rebuilding or if they decide that doing so would take away the paycheck of regular construction workers and the like.

Magical kung fu? It'll be as if the fighters are suspended by wires and fight as if the entire things was choreographed beforehand! Or it will be like Korra and every other animated show where everyone, even the "normal' folks, has superhuman flexibility and durability.

J'onn really did get the short end of the stick when JL turned into JLU. His only real spotlight episode before this was Task Force X and that was primarily focused on the villains.

It's the Justice League Beyond comics from 2012 (issues 7-8). The series goes into the origins of a lot of the Batman Beyond era heroes and their links to the original group.

The show never really resolves the love rectangle but there's a spinoff comic that offers a very concrete resolution.

I don't think the dark Korra is just her PTSD since that spirit a few episodes back was able to see it as well. Vaatu should be reforming inside of Raava so perhaps Zaheer's attacks accelerated his growth to the point where he can at least influence Korra? Other avatars never had this issue because he was locked up

The advantage of having decades of various origin stories - pick the best elements of each one, then merge them into one appropriate story.

So does Korra still have the ability to remove (and restore) bending? I can see her not wanting to use it on these new airbenders, no matter how much they beg for it, but the White Lotus really should have asked her to take care of their locked up supervillains.

Superman: Let's build a new HQ on the ground to be closer to the people.
Batman: I hope you don't expect me to pay for a THIRD state of the art facility.

It's always a little odd to see Batman fighting random crimes in broad daylight (and in Metropolis of all places). Shouldn't that sort of superhero grunt work be assigned to second stringers? As he will soon state for himself, he's a part timer.

Oddly enough the big battle scene felt kind of off, probably because a lot of it was recycled footage. The Sacrifice of the Angels battle was absolutely thrilling to watch but this one seemed kind of meh even though the fleets were (presumably) much, much bigger.

RTD clearly disagrees with me but I feel that the Doctor should have a major hand in the resolution of a season finale. He did so in Doomsday but Nine could have just as easily taken a nap while other people did the hard work during his swan song and in this epsiode Ten spends most of his time in a cage.

I'm a Lakers fan and even I have to admit that the Pistons probably should have won the 1988 Finals. If Isiah doesn't sprain his ankle the Pistons would have won game 6 or game 7. They also did a horrible job of keeping people off the court at the end of game 7.

It's a shame they couldn't have kept Jacobi as the Master for a bit longer. You can tell that RTD was going for a dark mirror of the Tenth Doctor (new teeth versus new voice, young and strong, etc.) but it would have been interesting to see him go up against a deadly serious Master.

RTD always seemed to make it a point to not make black characters date each other (Donna and her two fiancees, Martha and Tom, the fat couple on the Titanic, Mickey and Rose, etc.). I think that throwing Mickey and Martha together was merely a way to reduce the number of visits shown during The End of Time. Say what

Let's see, an inexperienced cadet gets to take command of a starship and assign his similarly inexperienced peers to important posts because the captain and other ranking officers are incapacitated/killed. Said cadet ignores orders to retreat and instead decides that his ship is the only one that can save the day.

It's a fantastic space battle but apparently the entire concept of shields pretty much went away.  Most of the non-Defiant ships appear to take massive damage after one or two hits and the fighters are pretty much toast after one blast.
