It was kind of cool that the cowboys had almost the exact same personalities as the MIA leaguers.  Hex is the Hawkgirl substitute (less talking, more hitting), Pow Wow is Superman (the honorable boy scout), Batlash is Flash (comic relief), and El Diablo is MM (cool looking guy who doesn't get to do anything).

Things have gotten worse but it seems like the problem did exist during Aang's time.  If the son of the Chief in the North had concerns he easily could have found a way to at least get a conversation with Aang about the problems in the south rather than waiting an entire generation for a new avatar to deal with

DS9 is jointly run but Starfleet was there at the invitation of the Bajoran governments, an invitation that could be revoked like we saw in the season 2 premiere.  It's possible that Kira or Sisko persuaded the government that letting Dukat and Weyoun claim DS9 would let them spy on them.  That's a lot harder if some

What I meant is that Waller specifically recruited someone who knew Batman's identity as opposed to telling some government agents to do some spy stuff.  Batman has been active for around a decade or more by the time JLU comes around and for most of that time he was viewed as a weirdo who happened to have some highly

I wonder if Waller and friends figured out all of the secret identities.  Superman is actually fairly straightforward and Flash doesn't strike me as the most careful person in the world.  I suppose that you have to accept the glasses as the perfect cover but a spy satellite over Metropolis would be able to nail down

The League needs to work on their strategy.  The space group launched a simultaneous attack (a decent plan) and got their butt's kicked.  The air group then decides that the best option is to launch individual attacks.  The ground group stands around and tries to look threatening before getting blown away without

To be fair a few of Batman's enemies (Joker, Ra's) have been shown to be capable of causing some serious problems for virtually anyone, regardless of power levels.

One drawback of the JLU structure was that J'onn got stuck with permanent Watchtower duty.  He reminds me of the lieutenant/boss from Law and Order or other similar series: technically he's in charge, but that means he gets stuck at HQ while everyone else gets to have the fun.

While Justice League didn't come out until after this it just makes Batman's loner tendencies and stubborn pride look even worse since I don't think it would have taken three weeks for someone like Superman/Flash,etc. to find the Joker's hideout, especially since the Joker never actually left Gotham.  Although I
