Inadvertently lesbian Ann and Leslie are my favorite Ann and Leslie. So a "let's go to a sperm bank" story is just a gold mine for me.

More room for Bitch Hunter!
What, no South Park?
Saw Monkeybone in the theatre. My friend and I were the only ones in the theatre on a Saturday afternoon.
1. Prometheus - Eh. Hard to have an opinion about a movie in which I don't care about any of the characters. Does anyone know why they put Guy Pearce in awful old age make up?
And where to keep it to keep it from getting confiscated.
Aww, poor Brittany Murphy. I saw this shortly after Clueless. She was the most memorable part of two very memorable movies. It really sucked seeing her turn into an anorexic bleach blonde starring in shitball romcoms. And then she died.
Yeah, I had a newfound respect for Shields after seeing her in this. I didn't think dark, twisted camp was in her wheelhouse at all.
@avclub-0f132d56f03842186821ce5d5fd63cb7:disqus Dennis Kucinich, Alan Grayson, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Sherrod Brown, Raul Grijalva, Elijah Cummings, Howard Dean, Bernie Sanders, Tammy Duckworth and John Lewis. That's just off the top of my head.
I've already lost my patience with Jimmy's storyline. It's looking like it's going to be a season-long arc with hiding-from-Fiona, Fiona-being-endangered;-Jimmy-coming-clean, and Gallaghers-solve-the-problem season finale sections. It'd be boring even if it wasn't obviously telegraphed.
One of the things I hate the most about political comedy is political comedy that is not political. Just because you're talking about politicians doesn't mean you're being political. Making fat jokes about Clinton or Gingrich is not political. This is what the Capitol Steps is guilty of and is what makes them boring…
Yeah, I watched New Rose Hotel years ago and I still remember being disappointed in the failed promise of Ferrera-Defoe-Argento. The last 30 minutes is basically replaying the middle 30 minutes with a bit of voice over.
The sudden turn in Wet Hot from fairly straightforward 80's camp parody to full on bonkers absurdist randomness is my favorite part of the movie. Just a brilliant meta-structure joke.

Netflix: Safety Not Guaranteed and Dark Shadows.
Mathis has had a career-long run of either following bad advice or making bad choices. Her follow up to this was Super Mario Bros.
I've never liked anime, so the DCAU's continual drift towards anime was a real turnoff for me. One of the reasons I never got into Teen Titans or Young Justice is simply the off-putting cartoonish style.
Pie Town!
Don Cheadle may not have fucked that bumblebee (never thought that would ever be a sentence) this episode, but that scene went on way too long and that actress was way too cute for it not to be some sort of set up for future episodes.
Never mind what the first guy said. Eaten By a Toilet is the clear favorite here.
